Abu Gosh Filistin Künefesi — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

The owner is an absolutely kind man. He’s down to earth and very dedicated to what he does. Since we were new to this place and we were not well-versed with Kunefe, he spent the extra time explaining everything in detail. We were absolutely delighted with the food. The Kunefe was absolutely worth it. We tried both versions and we were happy with both . Pistachio ice cream to top them was excellent .

The Karak tea is an absolute MUST! I am originally from India and I can emphatically say this is probably the best one I have had - and of all places in the world : in Istanbul !

The owner was extremely kind to us - especially our five year old boy and gave him a bubble toy. Absolutely delicious künefe! Well worth the visit!

We had the classic Palestinian kunefe and the crispy type. Both were tasty, but i personally enjoyed the texture and creaminess of the classic version more.

Beyond the food, the owner was so gentle, hospitable and kind to us. He speaks really good English, and for a visitor that doesn’t speak any Turkish or Arabic, that helps a lot. He was happy to take the time to explain to us about kunefe and its ingredients, and the difference between the classic and the crispy versions. Overall, it was very lovely experience. I will forever love this place! We searched for a vegan kunefe during our trip to Istanbul and found this small shop up a hill in Besiktas. It was so incredible we came here twice! We tried the vegan kunefe both times, and I had the regular one once, as well as karak chai both times. Incredible flavors and tastes, you can really tell how much love they put into each dish. The karak chai had the most amazing cardamom smell even before taking a sip. The kunefe was warm and sweet and delightfully crispy.
