Tacofit — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

I have been a returning customer of Tacofit, but after my recent visit, I will never dine here again. Despite being a regular, my request to have my order prepared in advance over the phone was completely ignored. When I arrived at the restaurant, I had to go up to the counter myself to order what I needed. Upon bringing the meal, the server carelessly pushed my plate towards me from the other side of the table.

To make matters worse, the burrito I ordered came with a measly three small tacos, which were more for show than substance. If there was guacamole in those tacos, you’d need a magnifying glass to find it! Not even counting the absence of sour cream… When I mentioned that I couldn’t see any guacamole, I was unpleasantly told, "We put very little, you might not notice it." I also overheard a table next to me discussing their dissatisfaction with the lack of attention they were receiving.

Thanks to their poor service, I won't be needing to eat at this restaurant again....

This place was recommended to me and wow I must say it was pretty good! The actual place is pretty small but you can still meet a couple friends up there for a bite to eat or just have it delivered at home. I got the Nacho's first it basically filled me up like a regular meal and it was so tasty. The place also has an open kitchen to where you can watch them cook your meal. I was actually surprised because I haven't found a good Mexican place in Istanbul till now! Wash it all down with some Ginger Ale. Definitely putting this place in...

Fresh ingredients and quality earned the 4 stars ... however anyone who has had an American or true Mexican taco would just feel as I did ... sad that this is what Turkey thinks tacos are. Desperate need of authentic seasonings, salsa, sauce ... then you'd have yourself a taco. No ... Siracha is not for tacos... lol! However ... the buritto was tasty, and the taco bowl was also yummy.
