Siyah Cafe & Breakfest — Restaurant in Beşiktaş

Are we unlucky here, I don't know. We were here twice a few years ago and first time they forgot half of the order, and second time completely forgot we ordered. We tried again, and again they forgot part of the order. The staff do not write down the order and they seem to forget exactly what it is you want. Food is nothing special, sucuklu yumurta was too oily. Unlike some other places tea is not included in the breakfast, they keep bringing you tea which gives the impression it's part of the breakfast but they are charging every time. One third of the whole bill was just for tea!. I would definitely recommend trying one of the other breakfast...

تم زياره المطعم ثلاثه كبار وثلاثه اطفال وتم الاستقبال والترحيب وسالنا هل بالطلب اخبرنا نعم حتى اذا مئه ليره على حسب الطلب لما حضرت النادله تم اختيار الفطور لثلاث اشخاص مع اختيار نوع البيض حسب المذكور بالمنيو يمكن تغيير نوع البيض واحتساب مبلغ اضافي ولكن عندما حضر الطلب جا الطلب كثير وزياده انواع بيض لم يتم طلبها واخبار النادل انه ليس طلبنا وقال طلبكم قادم ولما طلبنا الفاتوره جا حساب لعدد خمس اشخاص قال الموظف ان اللي اخذت الطلب فهمت غلط وتم شرح الموضوع وقامت الموظفه شرح انها فهمت غلط وبعدها قالت ان سالتكم كم شخص بالبدايه عشان كذا حسبت 6 اشخاص !! والموظف الاخر يقول ان الطلب وصل ولازم يندفع مع ان ان اخباره ان هذا مش طلبنا من البدايه !! لا انصح بالذهاب لهذا المطعم كونه ينصب ويضيف طلبات لم يتم طلبها ويتم استغفال الزبائن !!

Honestly, pretty much all the breakfast places are the same in this street but the service here is phenomenal which makes the difference. There is a gentleman (I guess the owner) that checks every table and talks to guests to make sure everyone is satisfied. He gave us complimentary turkish coffee and tea which was so thoughtful. Also one thing is we hated the people who are standing in front of the places and trying to convince you to eat at their restaurant. It's so arrogant, literally harassing. This place doesn't do that though. the prices...
