We went to this place tonight we were greeted by a very rude server who made us feel unwelcome from the moment we entered. I am an elderly disabled person, i tried to move past someone , who moved their chair, and the waiter said NO, don’t move - making me suffer and move past on uneven ground. He looked with contempt at us for no reason, other than the fact maybe we weren’t Turkish. We ordered 3 teas while deciding if we wanted to stay and eat in this establishment and he said no tea, you order food or go - raising his voice. So we decided to take this as a que to leave. Such a shame as this was our last night and we wanted to order a feast, but this man made us feel uncomfortable and pretty much told us to leave. Maybe he was having a bad day, I’m not sure, but his service was atrocious. If they want repeat custom, they should think about having a word with him. I would have put Zero star because of his service but it was...
Read moreWhat can I tell? I have been living in Istanbul for 21 years and I ate kebabs in various restaurants not only in Istanbul but in other cities, too. I found this place accidentally and had the best kebab I've ever eaten.
The quality is amazing, the kebabs they have are actually full of meat, not full of oil unlike others. The prices are also normal and can be considered cheap when compared with the other kebab shops around Istanbul.
They also have a traditional Turkish dessert called Sütlaç which I don't like in general but my partner loved it so I recommend you trying it out.
The staff is also very kind and helpful. They always smile at you and take care of you during your dining well.
What can I say about this place? I can say stop wandering around İstiklal Street and come enjoy your food here, your mouth and stomach will be...
Read moreThe first time we went was 2 weeks ago and we ordered the Kiymali Bafra Pidesi (70 TL) and the Adana Kebap (80 TL). Yesterday at 11:30am, we arrived at the restaurant and tried to order the same dishes. We were told that they were not serving kebap yet, only doner. We asked if they were doing pide and the waiter said yes, We ordered the Bafra pidesi again and the Kusbasili pide. The meat in both was dry and not tasty. The Bafra pide had dry minced beef while the Kusbasili (which on the menu states that it should be minced meat) was simply doner meat cut up; it was very dry and not good. I wish that the waiter had simply told us that the pide was not...
