Maroon Pera Hotel — Hotel in Beyoğlu

On the morning of September 30, my fiancé came to the hotel because he could not reach me and made the reservation on my behalf. He is the hotel manager. Although he said my name directly, the rude man at the reception did not even look at his face! He said that there was no such person in the hotel and lied. He did not ask him for different person information. My fiancé asked everything according to the rules. He told the reservation name with all the information. SHAME!! The worst hotel we've stayed in, I've never seen so much unhygienic..

first of all, we booked a deluxe room for 3 people (the two of us and a 5-year-old child) and only got a double bed. ok, it's not a problem, but there was only one large towel and one small one in the room. wait... there are 3 of us and only one towel??? I asked for 2 more, they brought... but the next day there was only one again.

4 star hotel??? there was no bottle of water even though it was needed, there was also no toothbrush, and when we asked for shampoo, they said they didn't have any...

when we got to the room, we found dirty pillowcases, a dirty bedspread... a lot of dust, which is unacceptable... horrible! There was the bathroom was particularly run-down, dirty... we were afraid to take a shower.

we had two nights that we paid ( 67 € per night) in advance, otherwise we would NEVER have stayed in that hotel. everything in the promo pictures is a lie, nothing is real! SHAME!!!

*the only good thing is the location, that's why we booked it, otherwise we would never have done it!

This hotel has a great access to both Istiklal street and Taksim square. The staff also were friendly and polite. However, the room was far from what we expected. Although, it was fairly clean and cleaned every day but the facilities were a major issue for us. The hand shower was broken, and the bathroom had a glass door that wouldn't fully close, no matter how hard we tried. The other problem about the door was the terrible noise it made when we opened or closed it. We could not use the bathroom in the middle of the night or early in the morning to avoid waking the other person in the room with the noise! When we told the staff and the manager about the problems and asked them to fix them or change our room they refused to help. The other problem was the fridge. On the third day of our stay, it broke down and all our stuff in it went bad, so we had to throw everything away!
