Coming to the Hotel you get a good vibe, its near the sea, like 1 minute walk or less, lots of shops, several restaurants and plenty of walking area or cycle paths.||||Staff were welcoming, but communicating in English can sometimes be an issue esp if some regular staff arent present.||||The room I was offered had a good view, though sea view would have been better, not sure if they have one or not or if its extra. A/C worked quite well but doesn't have a remote control. Had a few issues connecting to the WiFi as the password in the room was wrong, Once connected the WiFi was fine and connected all my devices with good speed. Room could have benefited with a bin in it (on top of the one in the loo)||||When reviewing the hotel you have to bear in mind the cost. For the cost you get breakfast and a room. Theres enough plug sockets for two people a desk and some storage. its not noisy in the hotel and generally it is clean. The room itself was clean but could benefit with more 'table top' space, like a side cupboard or unit.||||I didnt like the shower too much it was a bit too 'compact' but worked fine just patching up in a few places.||||Staff were helpful when it came to changing reservation.||||Bad points:||For me the bed was for some reason too hard and thus not comfortable resulting in some back pain. Good thing was they had extra duvet and pillow for those who need it.||When I tried to switch TV on it wouldn't work, there were also two remotes and something dangling from the TV. Told the staff, they sent someone who found the remotes were working but you had to press and hold the power button for good few seconds to switch it on (which isnt really normal nor would the average person know this). But still he could not find any signal or channels. So they offered me a new room, but that had only twin beds which I didn't want....So had to make do without TV for a few hours. But I had a a look at the TV and actually managed to fix it and get decent amount of English channels...||||Hotel had no luggage scales to weigh baggage.||||Room has a minibar as stated in the website listing, but its not free, however note some people maybe fooled into believing they're getting a few free drinks. There is a price list but its in Turkish and you would assume the prices are for refills. I think the reception should make thsi clear to new customers from abroad.||||In terms of help with tourism related enquiries i dont think the staff were trained on it or they facilities just weren't available. In my case I wanted to hire a bike or moped, they couldn't provide the service...
Read moreFirst of all I called the hotel to find out if they can organise the airport pick up. receptionist named Firat told me that he can organise so I said ok I will send you my flights details through booking. com messages and please confirm me through the messages. he said it will cost me around 200-250 Turkish liras. he didn't contact me at all after that conversation. the day I landed I received a call from Firat saying that someone is waiting for me outside the airport. I was not expecting any pick because he didn't contact me at all, any ways I said ok how much I have to pay he said don't worry now u can pay at the hotel when we arrived at the hotel he said you have to pay 400 liras which is rip off for 20 mins ride . I literally paid 400 liras for 50 mins ride in Istanbul . secondly shower area was very small and leaking all the time. I fell down 2 times and almost hit my head with the wash basin. complained few times and they said it's fixed but it was still leaking wifi was very bad, we didn't have wifi for two days after complaining few times they organise the portable wifi 3rd day. lastly breakfast was below average, juices were tasteless. I think they add water in juices . in 4 days stay one day there were 3 juice . next day no juice , 3rd day one juice 4th day no juice . scramble eggs was only available one day asked next day about it they said u have to pay for it. for latte you have to pay extra as well. Also one day the milk they serve for corn flakes was bad and it was smelling so I complained and they changed the milk. Hotel Management really needs to work on the above mentioned things . and must train their staff to not rip off their international customers. On the other hand the location was best , hotel was neat and clean. Two staff members Ersin & Gunes helped me a lot and they were so humble and polite. I really want to thank them for their...
