Hilside Bar Restaurant — Restaurant in Marmaris

They do indeed have the bragging rights by saying 'one of the best views to be had from any restaurant in the town.' We did manage the accent up steep narrow streets and numerous steps (hard work for my wife with only one lung) to have a well earned, cool, lunch time drink.

But we didn't eat although the menu was appetising - we were passengers ashore from the Gulet Kurk K and our lunch was waitng for us aboard.

The staff and management we met during our short stay were affable and understandable English spoken. The place was clean and table accoutrements in good order.

We could though only imagine how spectacular the view would have been, looking over the town and the Aegean, having dinner, as the sun set.

We came here after some friends who live locally recommended the restaurant as a more special dining experience, especially as we were going to Castle bar before.

I’m vegetarian and gluten intolerant and the staff were able to accommodate my needs. The real stand out was the hummus, come just for this! Throughout the evening, the staff were attentive, efficient and friendly.

Will definitely come back next time...

A hidden treasure. This was a truly beautiful experience. The restaurant has spectacular views of the hills and marina. The service was excellent and genuine. We ate dinner there and the food was delicious, it was my favourite location to eat in Marmaris. Beautiful steps lead up to a secret terrace hidden away from view. Would definitely recommend to everyone...
