Nusr-Et Steakhouse İstinye Park — Restaurant in Sarıyer

I came here for my 10th or even 11th time In almost every visit to Istanbul i come to this Branch of Nusrat

This time i encountered a very very very rude , in-polite dis-respectful attitude by staff of the resturant servant along with his Supervisor / Incharge.

They were never welcoming at all nor were respectful to both my friend and i. We came a minute before they opened at 11:59 HRS ehere we got rejected ans asked to come after 1 minute ! We respectfuly waited till they open respecting their rules . Then the servant who seemed racist against us and very rude

Mr. Ekrem , the servant who was supposed to be taking care of our table was never helpful standing away from our table and being angry and rude when we ever asked to help with order or wven just take the order. I then asked if we can replace the regular fries of one of the orders with a truffle fries, he suddenyl and rudly said NO ! Although this was done before , and even was done a day ago in another Nusrat branch we went to in sisle area with an extra charge and we agreed and accepted it happily.

He says no , “ we never do this , i worked here for 10 years and i know better than both of you “.

This was rude and said in a loud rude way , i them asked him to kindly double check with his in charge manager , who was just witnessing and seeing this happening and never reacted or even came to say hi or help us to get sorted.

The in charge was playing and roaming and laughing around with his staff and never bothered him self coming to us to see if we are ok and at least just say it in a nice respectful way.

He never came to us , the man went and we placed the order anyways although there were a lot of contra-indications! But we remained silent and did not want to cause any issues so we agreed to have it as it is ! Although the same was fine yesterday.

But those two gentlmens were truly rude and not in the mood to serve anyone, it was obvious for my friend accompanying me and myself too.

Few minutes later the same guy had an issue with another people sotting nearby we heard it.

His English is poor , not even enough to take order in a well known international restaurant ! We had to explain by images , imitations .. etc.

I was assuming that people working in such places at least have the STANDARDS OF SERVICE and basic language communications skills.

But both the manager and this staff truly need a training and serious mandatory action taken against them ASAP.

I will never never ever come to this resturant or AT LEAST this branch again after what i have seen and encountered , not my friends will do.

Moreover,food quality Cleanliness of the table was not up to standards at all!

Poor over all experience Absolutely not...

The terrace where we dined last tine in this restaurant 4 years ago was closed. The inner part is not a restaurant but a canteen. It smells bad. The food is average in general. My friend took a carpaccio that they served without lemon juice and olive oil. That’s ok may be that’s the way it is served in the restaurant but then she felt bad. And the worst experience of this and the last time the “service”. Our waiter who started the service was ok and friendly, but the other one may be the team manager, the huge guy, was almost crying out at ours and the others complaining that they work bad. I don’t think the guests should listen to it. Then the same guy was not smiling but grinning like he cared, but he didn’t. The cherry on top was the scam of the other waiter who said we didn’t put enough money. We have paid cash and calculated the money twice. And 2060 TL is not a big deal to calculate. And we gave 1200 and 1000 (paid apart with my friend). So when he calculated it very fast he said we put only 2000 TL. We didn’t make a scandal out of it and didn’t recalculate but just added another 200. It was very disgusting experience. I would not go to the restaurant again.
