This place was a bit over-hyped in my opinion. My girlfriend and I booked a table for our last dinner on the island after researching a few different places. We thought we were going to be blown away by our overall experience but it was just an "ehh" for us. The food was ok but if it wasn't for the complimentary bread, we'd still be hungry after it was said and done. I ordered the ribeye with fries (steak frites) first off, the steak itself was thinner than I expected. Secondly, I ordered it medium like any normal person should and it came out well done. Thirdly, this isn't a precise count but I swear there were only 10-15 fries on my plate. My girlfriend ordered a Caribbean/Mexican style pasta bolognese. Of course I sampled it because that's what I do, it was just ok for me. She had no complaints as long as it had pasta in it lol in other words, pasta is her favorite food. Our waitress suggested we try the crepes for dessert so we tried that and it was good don't get me wrong. I just expected a lot more. The service was ok until the dinner crowd poured in... The staff could barely handle it. Some parties didn't see anyone for 15 minutes after being seated. All in all this place was very average to me. To be honest, we should've checked out the other restaurant that was in the same resort, I think the...

Exceptional Dining Experience by the Water

Our recent dinner at this waterfront restaurant was nothing short of spectacular. The setting, especially at night, was truly stunning, with the gentle glow of the water creating a romantic and serene atmosphere.

The food was equally impressive. I opted for the grilled grouper, which was perfectly cooked and paired beautifully with the creamy mashed potatoes and the homemade pineapple salsa. The combination was delightful and showcased the chef's skill in balancing flavors.

My wife chose a local soup made with okra, potatoes, black-eyed peas, turmeric, and ginger. The blend of ingredients was innovative and incredibly tasty, highlighting the restaurant's commitment to using fresh and local ingredients.

To make the evening even more special, it was my wife's birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to celebrate. They brought out a delicious plate of homemade ice cream and sang "Happy Birthday," adding a warm and personal touch to our meal.

In summary, the food and atmosphere were absolutely worth it. The combination of a beautiful setting, exquisite cuisine, and exceptional service made for a memorable dining experience that we will cherish for a long time. Highly recommended for any special occasion or just a night out...

We stumbled (luckily) upon this gem in the Wymara Resort. We walked up the beach and had drinks at the Pink Bar before our dinner. The staff at Blue Water was incredible. We were given a choice to sit down on the beach area or in the upper tier that looks over the beach. We chose the lower level on the beach. The outdoor lighting, HUGE umbrella and blue table candles set the perfect backdrop for our best dinner (so far) on Turks. The food was delicious. We had a caesar salad with chicken, 4 of the lobster tail dinners and the tenderloin. All dishes had an ample amount of food and were creatively presented. The sommelier introduced us to a delicious bottle of Sancerre and truly knew his craft!!! Dessert (creme brulee) and decaf cappuccino were the perfect ending to our night.... But the BEST PART OF OUR NIGHT WAS.... WENDY!!! WENDY!!! She was our server and her infectious energy turned the evening up a notch. She knew not only the menu and made wonderful suggestions, but her knowledge and love for this beautiful island was evident. She was funny, patient (we couldn't decide about what we wanted), and gave us a lot of her precious time. My family has a lot of restaurant experience and we all agreed that she is ONE OF THE BEST!!! Bravo to Blue Water and WOO...

The food was very disappointing. Specifically the seafood. The lobster spring rolls were the exception. They were crispy and the lobster filling was well seasoned and flavorful. The coconut shrimp was very over cooked and we simply sent it back. My wife ordered the grouper which was overcooked & dry. I also had the seafood hot pot. The 1/2 lobster tail, mussels, bay scallops were rubbery…again overdone. The curry broth was tasty though. My son (20 yo) had the spiny lobster linguine which was a good dish. We shared the passion creme brûlée which was very nice. Our server, Marcos was very attentive and smiling all evening. He was excellent. The “Conch Colada” cocktail was delicious. The beach setting was quite beautiful & designed appropriately for the location. Overall the quality of food combined with the price equals a no return visit for us. A shame.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Blue Water Bistro was hands-down the best place we spent money on during our time in Turks and Caicos! From start to finish, everything was top-notch. Our waiter, Hector, was absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. You could tell he really cared about our experience. The food was phenomenal. The lobster was cooked to perfection, the rum cake was pure heaven (seriously a must-try), and the cappuccino was the perfect finish to the meal—rich, smooth, and full of flavor. Parking was a breeze, and unlike some places, every staff member we encountered truly seemed to appreciate our business and cared that we were there. That level of hospitality really stood out. This spot sets the bar high—can’t recommend it enough!
