I can definitely see the beautiful coral becoming more whitewashed with each visit. There still some amazing fish, none the less. The far right corner is the prime spot. PLEASE USE REEF SAFE SUNSCREEN AT EVERY OCEAN/BEACH.

Fantastic spot for snorkeling off the beach. Area is bordered by rope to safely guide yourself around the outside of the reef. Don't give up on the water clarity as it changes with the tide.

Nice reef to swim out side of and a little restaurant called somewhere

The “famous ” coral reef has been over-swam by tens of thousands of tourists, and thus, it is in poor condition with few fishes or other ocean life. It is just off the beach right in front of the Coral Gardens condos/resort. Don’t let the vendor near the public entrance to the beach charge you $15 to rent a lounge chair and $25 for an umbrella. Bring your own beach pop-up shelter, etc.

Only decent thing at this area is the “Somewhere” Cafe (restaurant) that is a part of the Coral Gardens resort. It overlooks the beach with two...

In December I went to Turks and Caicos, I was staying at coral gardens resort, I went to places like smiths reef ( don’t touch the rope cause you get burns) and even went out on a boat. The best snorkelling from everywhere I went was coral gardens, I saw one nurse shark, 3-10 turtles, 4 stingrays or manta rays and a bunch of tropical fish. Lovely area and low key nicer than Grace bay xx have...

We were staying at Club Med and walked about 3 miles to get here, but we'll worth the effort. Multitudes of beautiful fish. Swim around the buoy line and don't enter the sanctuary, and you'll see some amazing sights. Head out a little past the roped-off area, into grassy bottoms and you may see some...
