Dyuu Long has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Kyiv for Chinese cuisine. The kitchen really knows how to balance salty, spicy, and sweet flavors—each dish feels perfectly layered without ever overwhelming the palate. Standouts include the rich, savory-salty stir-fried beef, the fiery yet balanced mapo tofu, and the sweet-and-spicy glazed chicken that hits all the right notes. I also like the “spicy chicken meat” which is better than the name suggests with a dry salty sweet fried batter shell. Perfect with a beer and white rice.
Everything arrives to the table piping hot, which makes a big difference in both taste and experience. The service is consistently attentive without being intrusive—staff check in at just the right times and are quick to refill or adjust anything needed. So far, I haven’t found a single weak item on the menu; every order has been excellent.
If you’re craving authentic Chinese food in Kyiv with bold flavors and top-notch service, Dyuu Long is a must-visit. At least the second best Chinese in...
Read moreThe place is very nice and reflects the concept very well, but I guess the waiters inside are not aware that they are waiters because there was not a single person who really took care of us or wondered what we wanted and wanted to help us. We ordered a few plates to try, we had to clean the little table ourselves. Until we left the place, no one took the empty plates on our table, no one said welcome or see you soon. Since we are foreigners, when we tried to speak English, we shouted and answered in Ukrainian. I have never seen such a disgraceful waiter in my life. I feel sorry for the cook because he dont know how the employees outside wasting...
Read more3.7/5 above average Chinese food. I think they have good potential but haven't reached their potential yet. We had the sweet and spicy chicken, hot and sour tofu soup, and Sichuan beef for 920 UAH. It was overpriced for the quality of the food. The meat quality was average. The dishes are authentic Chinese but how it is actually cooked and how it actually tastes isn't authentic and tastes different. The food wasn't bad, and there's definitely worse, but it definitely wasn't good or something that I was blown away by. The soup was too oily, the dishes also weren't spicy enough. Overall, I wouldn't recommend as there are much better Chinese...
