Who&Why. Speakeasy bar — Restaurant in Kyiv

The place has it's mystical sophisticated spirit. First of all, it's not that easy to find the location of bar itself. it's hidden :) secondly, on entrance you are asked passwords, which of course you are not aware of. Lobby guy said that we will find out pass once we are inside but we didn't.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

The menu has a food and drinks, cocktail page list is quite impressive, price is above average in town (~10 bucks for cocktail). Sitting near smoking room isn't pleasant. Overall atmosphere is nice but I wouldn't say this place is much more special or unique than any other bar.. Maybe just have to give it...

I wanted to speak to the mixologist to suggest a drink to my liking and I was denied by a waitress. Was told that I need to speak to her and she will speak to the mixologist, can't speak directly. The worst speakeasy and cocktail bar experience. It's as good as making drinks in a closed kitchen and killing the whole fun of offering customized cocktails by the taste and mood preference. Would never go. Try Bar Dictat and Loogerhead or Pravoz. Lot more interactive and customised and Ofcourse...

To find it, you have to enter the Mexican restaurant, locate the stairs, climb down and find the bell button on the wall. Seems a bit tricky but boy, oh boy how it pays off.
