Best HIlton I've ever stayed in the world!
First let me say that the level of service here is unlike anything I've ever experienced. As a team member + Diamond member, they exceeded my expectations. I'll point out to some examples:
By the 3rd day, when I went to the executive lounge for breakfast, Elena had remembered my favorite location to sit and brought my cappuccino to my seat. I didn't even need to say where I was going to sit because she paid very good attention to detail
After a horrible experience at the Hostel, I returned to spend my last 2 days here. When I returned, I checked in around 0930 and had requested executive lounge access for breakfast since I wasn't in a rush to check in. My friend and I had our delicious breakfast as usual and I towards the end of my meal, I was approached by a lovely lady who informed me that my room was ready and that my bags were in the room already. I didn't had to go downstairs to do all the paperwork because the lady brought them for me to sign, with keys in hand! That blew my mind because I proceeded to get a good rest!
I had gotten the room but I wasn't satisfied with the view of the room. I wanted my last night to have a memorable view and they went ahead and made it happen. They sent a bellman to assist me with the room transfer. He didn't had to come all the way to assist me with the luggage but the young bald gentleman insisted even though our room change wasn't that far. Really appreciated that!
The restaurant itself was delicious. What a way to end my last day in Kiev by having the best fancy sushi and Borscht I've ever had! Only complaint here is that they didn't gave me the team member discount. Maybe it was my mistake for checking out before I had lunch, but its no big deal. I'll pay anything to get that Borscht again!
Concierge was super helpful with my stay. They handed me a map with points of interests to make my trip a memorable one. On the last day, I asked for a unique Ukrainian experience, and even though the bell man's job wasn't to give me concierge advice, he suggested Mamayeva Sloboda. That was definitely a very Ukrainian experience that I will never forget. Beautiful recommendation indeed!
The hallways in my floor smelled amazing! I don't know what exactly it was but my god I wanted to take it home with me
The rooms were super luxurious. Almost in the level of Conrad's! I grew up poor so being in here felt like I was in a million dollar mansion! I felt like royalty. I found the switches next to my bed very useful. I was able to control everything in my room and that was very useful.
Everyone was super kind there. I will also never forget the conversation I had with the tall front desk lady. I think her name was Valentyna, the huge Justin Timberlake fan! She stood out the most. I just wanted to talk to her all day! She carried such a beautiful natural smile that will make any hotel guests feel welcomed.
I can keep going on and on. I've been to hundreds of Hilton's around the world, and this was one of the best in the...
Read moreThis is my second review for the place after coming back to Kyiv between 18-22 August'21. Again delighted with the experience and want to mention all the hotel staff who provided us the best hospitality experience.
Olexander and Maria at front office were extremely cooperative and friendly to help us with absolutely anything we needed to navigate around the city, provide us a seamless check in experience as Hilton Gold members and taking care of absolutely everything for us. As the face of the hotel, they do a fantastic job.
We visited the executive lounge everyday and had one of the best hospitality experiences from Bogdona and Maria. They always talk to you with a smile and make you feel at home. Bogdona actually gave us the best restaurant and bar recommendations in Kyiv. Well done to Hilton for keeping a great staff.
The gentleman at the concierge (forgot his name) was extremely helpful with any ticket bookings we had to make or suggesting suitable alternatives.
One feedback on the security staff is that they may come out as a little too intimidating at times. My friend got locked up outside the room in the middle of the night and took a short nap at a corner sofa in the hall, however the security guy would keep asking him to move around and not sit on the sofas. He was this extremely intimidating tall security guy who just kept chasing my friend and didn't let him use the sofa. What's the use of hotel furniture in common areas if guests can't use them? We booked a limo on one of the nights and the same guy came to catch us carrying the ice bucket in the vehicle like we were stealing.
Would request Hilton to keep the same quality, friendliness and approachability in the security staff as the front office and the lounge staff. Will make the staying experience more seamless and comfortable for the guests.
Overall, very very satisfied with the experience and would love to come back again. Thank you Hilton for hiring the most...
Read moreExceptionally great - as always! Not my first stay here, and with a few years gap apart but every single time - it’s unbelievably great and I won’t stop repeating myself that Hilton Kyiv is truly a gem and really is a great Hilton property not only in Europe but around the world. Rooms are always sparkling clean and spotless - make sure you pay attention to details such as carpet with chestnut leaves print - as a chestnut tree being a symbol of the city of Kyiv. Complimentary access to SPA during stay is always a pleasant add on - a great place for relaxation in a busy city. Breakfast - amazingly great, from the variety of Ukrainian cuisine dishes such as syrnyky and varenyky to more exquisite eggs Benedict with salmon, shakshuka, salad bar, oatmeal superfood toppings such as goji berries, chia seeds, flaxseeds, freshly squeezed orange juice and many many more. Another thing that really makes me (and my inner child) happy is Hilton Kyiv’s ability to surprise me during every stay - from boxes of truffle chocolates and macaroons to a gorgeous compliment for St. Valentine’s Day in a form of a beautiful setting with Prosecco and chocolates! What also makes this property truly amazing is the staff! The are the STARS! Ready to help with any question, any inquiry, always greeting with smiles. As a former team member, I treat every Hilton property as “home” away from home - however, being a Ukrainian and residing in Kyiv at this time - being able to have a little staycation within your home city and feel so welcomed, so relaxed - it worth a lot and I highly appreciate all Hilton Kyiv team for making it possible and making me feel proud of our...
