My worst Brazilian BBQ experience ever. Dry meats and terribly slow service.
In most Brazilian bbq places, they have a variety of meats coming out all the time. Here, however, one type of food comes out every 7 to 8 minutes. Half of them are bread or vegetables or other filler. The first 5 meat dishes were chicken, lamb, or pork. After over an hour being there they brought out the first beef dish; it was the driest piece meat I've ever had. Pics to prove. After 2 hours, there were 2 beef dishes total and both were very dry. I would not suggest coming if you are hungry or don't have time. I imagine they try to put all the decent meats at the end when everyone is too full to eat, but I was wrong. There weren't any decent meat dishes. I read all the other reviews and I'm confused if I came on an off day or the other reviews are friends of the owner or fake.
After I asked them if I could request a meat or if any more beef would come out, they said it would come eventually and were very rude about it. Seriously I'm wondering if this restaurant pays for reviews. It boggles my mind why this place is rated so high. The wines and drinks are way overpriced comparatively. After 2 hours, I came away not satisfied. I mean, I'm not hungry, but I'm also not full and I'd rather not wait every 8 minutes for...
Read morePlace tries to imitate with mediocre results.. (if you are familiar with the term/name from previous experience elsewhere you will be disappointed) If you NEVER tried Brazilian before - you actually may enjoy this. Locals praise the place because food is rather abundant. However, grill is generic (I suspect it's electric, camouflaged with gas flames. Meats are dry, worst you ever could get in any "Brazilian" anywhere in the world. Delivery also restricted (you wait like 10 minutes between new kinds of meet), they stick you with chicken, pork until you are full, may be lamb and only then you might get some beef (it's all beef with sprinkles of other kinds in traditional Brazilian Churrascaria). Atmosphere is OK, but cramped, subdued (and rude, if you ask for something you expected, no matter, how politely) If you are hungry and novice - they will feed you all right. But this is NOWHERE near the experience you'd expect from a...
Read moreVery loud music that makes a conversation without shouting impossible, I did not enjoy. And no Brazilian music! If you enjoy dinning in a quiet ambience, avoid this place. Answering the owner, Cara senhora ou senhor, Carnaval é em Fevereiro! You might have the money to open a Brasil rodizio but you don't have the knowledge of the culture of Brasil! All the music played is Latin America, not Brazilian. Brazil (Brasil is not Latin America), try to find real Brasil music, like Rita Lee, Maria Bethânia, Gal Costa, Elis Regina, Nara Leão, Gilberto Gil, Vinicius de Morais, Caetano Veloso, João Gilberto, Chico Buarque, I can go on and on. By the way Carnaval is in February. By the way I am from Portugal and I have been in Brasil more than 20 times, Topas? I had Brasil rodizio in Brasil when you didn't even know that Brasil exist! By the way, in Carnaval, not (Karnaval) Brasil dance Samba, not Salsa or Latin...
