KVITKOVA.Passage — Restaurant in Odesa Urban Hromada

The food itself was fantastic and seemed to be authentic to Italian cuisine while certain dishes had a more innovative and modern twist to it. The ingredients were of high quality, both in main dishes like pizzas and pastas as well as side dishes and salads. The location of the restaurant is also ideal because it is in the heart of the downtown Odesa and in particular, it is located within Passage, a significant architectural landmark of this city. The service however, was mediocre at best. The particular day when my family visited the restaurant was a day when there was a citywide water outage. This no doubt creates difficulties for a restaurant but there could have been workarounds that the restaurant could have taken but did not. For example, there is no water in the restroom to wash hands. There could have been pitchers with water or at least antiseptic sprays or wet wipes placed there for guests. Same goes for tables where there is no means to clean one’s hands before eating when the water is out. Furthermore, the waiters seemed unenthusiastic and preferred to hang out outside when we were dining inside and we needed to go out to call them on some occasions. So while the location of the restaurant, the interior and decoration and of course food was good or excellent, the subpar service and attitude of staff let down...

I visited this place as a foreign tourist in May 2024. Friendly service, freshly made and delicious pizzas, and an amazing atmosphere in the classic 'Passage' arcade from the 1800s. Not too expensive prices for Westerners, given the nice location in the heart of the city. The clientele is mostly young and cool (unlike me LOL). There is a pub/bar inside. Definitely...

Я не дуже люблю витрачати гроші в закладах харчування, тому що не так часто вони виправдовують мої очікування чи свою цінову політику. Але сьогоднішній досвід був 10/10 Починаючи з неймовірно-комфортного дизайну ресторану, до наповненої смаками їжі. Лимонади вразили відсутностю великої кількості цукру - нарешті можна охолодитись і не вжити денну норму цукру за один ковток напою. Соус до піцци з грушею та гаргонзолою настільуи чітко підходить, що і уявити було складно кращій мікс(Якщо читає офіціант зі зміни 15.07, то це я доїдала соус, тому що він занадто смачний🫣) Персонал приємний, з усім допомогали та приділяли належну увагу, щоб ми провели гарний час В один момент дівчина з іншого столику сіла за піаніно, котре знаходиться в ресторані та почала грати. Персонал приглушив музику та гості могли послухати гру дівчини Обов'язково приду ще та приведу друзів, щоб вони також насолодились класною та спокійною...
