Le Cafio Cafe Restaurant Reem Branch — Restaurant in Abu Dhabi

Ordered a Falafel Roll and they send me Chicken Nuggets roll, saying that this is what is shown in the photos they have and having no Idea what a Falafel is and having no Idea that Falafel is a Vegetarian item and Chicken Nuggets are not. Ordered a Vegetable burger, but it comes without any vegetable patty and the photos on the menu, clearly shows Falafel in the Falafel roll and a patty in veg burger. However as per the chef they don't have Falafel and veg patty in their kitchen, so they still took order for the items they don't have and send whatever they have. I am a VEGETARIAN by birth and today they make me eat CHICKEN. It is haraam for me, I vomited.

I am going to complaint to the food inspectors as well to seize such kitchen as such untrained staff can cause cross contamination and can make many people very sick.

I asked them to tell their manager or owner of restaurant to call me, NO one bothers to call.

Absolutely amazing experience.

Came across this cafe on my first day in Abu Dhabi but did not have the chance to experience it until our last day. My mom and i shared a plate of pasta and fruit juice because we’re the kind that dont eat much. It was a good idea to share because the portion is big!

Rachid made the experience very comfortable and was welcoming to us from the start. When he heard that i will be sharing the fruit juice with my mom, he graciously offered to serve it to us in two separate glasses for our own ease.

As you can tell, even with the huge portion, the both of us managed to finish the meal. It was absolutely delicious.
