We visited this restaurant for breakfast, expecting a French experience. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals we’ve had in Abu Dhabi.

As a French restaurant, I assumed there would be at least a croissant or a typical French pastry on the breakfast menu. Surprisingly, there were only about five dishes—none resembling a true French breakfast. Yes, there was a croque-monsieur, but that’s more of a lunch item than a breakfast staple. I even asked if I could have a simple baguette with butter and jam, but was told plain butter and jam weren’t available. For a French establishment, that was honestly shocking.

We ordered scrambled eggs and shakshuka. While waiting, we were served an appetizer: a baguette with olives and herb butter. The bread was very good, but the olives were poor quality, and the butter tasted off. We ended up using the olive oil on the table instead.

Then came the biggest disappointment. We waited nearly 30 minutes for two very simple dishes—even though the restaurant was completely empty. When the food finally arrived, both plates were inedible. The shakshuka looked like a watery tomato soup with a half-cooked egg floating in it—the whites still raw. The scrambled eggs, which should be the easiest dish to get right, were so unappetizing that neither my husband nor I could eat them.

To their credit, our waitress and the bartender who made our orange juice were wonderful—the only positive part of the service. When we raised our concerns, the staff offered us a cheesecake as an apology. While kind in intention, it felt misplaced—who wants cheesecake for breakfast after such a poor meal?

The location and interior are beautiful, and I did enjoy the baguette and fresh orange juice. But I absolutely cannot recommend this place for breakfast. If you’re branding yourself as a French restaurant, it’s worth reconsidering your breakfast menu and food quality. I’m not a Michelin inspector, but this experience fell far below even basic...

Spoiler: If you want to get surprised, I highly recommend you don't read the menu, instead trust the Chef and order the Chef's choice set menu! The restaurant made me really focus on what I was eating. I forgot about everything around me and concentrated on the taste and the sensation because I was trying to capture the flavor of the food that was actually in the dish. It was a Dangerous mind game that I lost because I couldn't guess anything! This is amazing! This restaurant is great for you if you want to try something new and not only enjoy your dinner (which you definitely will do) Such an amazing way to try your taste receptors based on stereotypes. I really liked the details, everything is well coordinated, the kitchen runs like a perfectly fine-tuned machine, the staff's dedication and passion for what they do was visible in their work. I enjoyed the service, thank you so much for explaining the dishes, wine selection and helping me with everything. This is a level of restaurant that is a pleasure to be in. It's interesting that everything here is completely different from what you expect. Even the bread that comes usually at the beginning was served almost at the end. It's actually a small gastronomic journey, which shows that food can still impress and bring a lot...

Les Dangereux is an absolute gem, offering a perfect mix of stunning beachside views, an incredible sunset session, and top-tier cuisine. From the moment you arrive, the ambiance is effortlessly chic, with a relaxed yet elegant vibe that makes it ideal for both intimate dinners and lively gatherings.

The highlight of the experience is undoubtedly the sunset session on the beach. As the sun dips below the horizon, the atmosphere becomes even more magical with soft music, expertly crafted cocktails, and the sound of the waves creating the perfect backdrop. It’s the kind of place where time slows down, and you can truly soak in the beauty of the moment.

The food at Les Dangereux is just as impressive as the setting. Every dish is prepared with high-quality ingredients, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. From fresh seafood to perfectly grilled meats and creative vegetarian options, there’s something for everyone. The attention to detail in both taste and presentation is evident, making each bite a delight.

Whether you’re looking for a relaxed afternoon by the beach, a vibrant sunset experience, or a sophisticated dining experience, Les Dangereux delivers on all fronts. It’s a must-visit for those who appreciate great food, breathtaking views, and an...
