I recently dined at Aden Restaurant Mandi & Madhbi, and while the food left something to be desired, the outdoor seating area was undoubtedly a standout feature.
Starting with the positives, the restaurant's outdoor seating area was truly delightful. Nestled amidst a charming setting, it provided a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. The outdoor seating allowed for a relaxing dining experience, especially during pleasant weather conditions. It was a great place to unwind and enjoy the surroundings.
Unfortunately, I found the food at Aden Restaurant Mandi & Madhbi to be just okay. While it was not necessarily bad, it did not meet my expectations in terms of flavor and quality. The dishes lacked the depth and authenticity that I had anticipated, leaving me somewhat disappointed. The taste fell short of the traditional flavors that one would typically associate with Mandi and Madhbi cuisine.
On a more positive note, the service at the restaurant was satisfactory. The staff members were attentive and courteous, ensuring that we were well taken care of throughout our visit. Their helpfulness added to the overall dining experience.
In summary, while the food at Aden Restaurant Mandi & Madhbi was not particularly impressive, the restaurant's outdoor seating area provided a wonderful ambiance for a relaxing meal. With its charming atmosphere and attentive service, it could be a suitable choice for those seeking an enjoyable dining experience in a beautiful setting. However, for those primarily looking for exceptional Mandi and Madhbi cuisine, it may be worth exploring...
Read morevery bad service On last Saturday I & my friends visited Aden Mandi & Madhbi Restaurant, Al Ras as usual because we regularly visit there. When we entered & asked for chicken Madhbi 10 persons @11pm your staff told us that we don’t have madhbi so we returned back & at that time one of your staff stopped & told that we have madhbi so we came back again. Once we sat your staff were also not responding properly, First they bought soup which was really very bad with lots of salt in it & couldn’t be able to drink. Then we asked for salad because without salad Mandi or madhbi is not a complete meal so they told us that we don’t provide salad & salad will be charged extra. Once they served the madhbi, we looked surprised with that because there was no fried onions or fried raisins upon it, only rice & chicken piece. Is this how you serve a Mandi/madhbi?? And all your staffs were busy with your shisha customers. The services where really bad. So we had a bad experience with your restaurant & it will be our last visit & also we prefer our friends & family to not go to Aden...
Read moreMy wife and I were in Dubai for only a couple of days and wanted to get off the beaten path for tourist. Aden Restaurant was perfect for this. We had an outstanding meal for two of hummus with mutton, lamb soup, delicious bread with black sesame seeds, vegetable salta, and grilled sea bream for only 90 AED (about $27 USD). Plus free bottled water.
The service was very friendly and generous (the waiter gave me an extra bowl of soup because I said I liked it). A bonus for us was that our waiter was fluent in English.
Good people watching in a casual environment too. The customers appeared to be all locals, not tourists.
Highly recommended. The only very minor flaw was that the vegetable salta came without hulbah(fenugreek froth) even though we'd asked for it. We had a change of waiters mid-meal and I think the second waiter just didn't know we'd asked for it.
In my experience, it is kind of common with Yemeni restaurants to leave off the hulbah. I think they believe that non-Yemenis won't like the green...
