Al Rageef Lebanese Restaurant & Grill — Restaurant in Dubai

Review Growing up as an expat in Dubai, Middle Eastern/Arabic cuisine has been part of our daily lives so much so that we have taken it for granted. While there have been many eateries focusing on the same cuisine, none of them have gotten it right. Yes, They have had varying degrees of success/failure with various elements such as decor, marketing, customer service etc. but not so much with the actual food itself.

Ironically, Al Reef Lebanese Bakery does quite the opposite. While their food is to die for, their marketing is zero, decor and ambiance is blah, and customer service is non-existent, even rude at many instances. Still, we return again and again for the heavenly food that they serve! Having tried at least 100 of their dishes combining weird combinations over the years, below are some that have been my regular orders.

Verdict Residents love this place to the hilt. And tourists should add a visit to Al Reef Lebanese Bakery to their itinerary. As this place serves the best Lebanese food there is! It doesn't get better than this.

"Been to this once or twice, the food here tasted average nothing exceptional. Tried few of their Manakeesh, it tasted alright. Also tried their shawarmas, Hummus and mix grill it really lacks flavour. Overall an average experience.

Ambience: A very standard and non-fancy arrangement. Comfortable though.

Service: The service was quick - the staff is friendly as well.

Food: The food here needs improvement. Everything about this place is fine but the food could use some more flavour to it.

Location: The location is easy to find but the parking is a bit of an issue so have to wait queit a while during peak times.

Recommendations: The place is worth trying but cant really say if I'll keep going there for more...

I ordered cheese manakish and cheese and meat manakish, only to discover that the cheese was spoiled and had a bitter taste. When I brought this to the server's attention, he dismissively claimed that "that's how it tasted" and proceeded to act rudely, packing the leftovers and handing me the bill without any attempt to address the issue.

Mistakes can happen, but I expected a reasonable effort to rectify the situation. Instead, I was met with unprofessional behavior. This kind of treatment is completely unacceptable, and I sincerely hope that other customers are not subjected to the same poor service.
