The general concept behind bringing Indian street food into full fledge restaurant have become very common as their exists a good market of consumers who love to experience comfort while dining and mostly avoid street food because of the hassle. Rajdhani Street takes the same concept ahead with fancy presentation, innovative dishes, appetizing taste and friendly staff. I had visited the JLT branch which had an awesome view of the artificial lake. One important to note is that it is a vegetarian chain of restaurants. The restaurant has yellowish interior walls which generally helps to reflect lights and create a more vibrant atmosphere. Since the restaurant outlet is located opposite to the artificial lake the proportion of daylighting seems to be satisfying to properly lit the spaces. It can also be observed that the designer tried to use a lot of traditional light bulbs as a decorative luminaire feature being retrofitted with LED. Ordered Dishes are as follows Appetizer - Paneer cheese ka lifafa; Kothimbir wadi; Chilli cheese khari; Pizza dokhla; Pav bhaji fondue Drinks - Coco coco surat(chocolate); Kulikki sherbet; Hara pudina shikanji; Kairi panna; Chocolate milkshake; Strawberry milkshake
Main course - Paneer tikka paratha; Methi matter; Paneer dum biriyani; Paneer butter masala; Kadai paneer and baby corn Desserts - Jalebi with rabri; Rabri gulab jamun; Fruit shrikhand; Malpua with rabri We started our dining session by trying out the drinks as we had ordered Coco surat (chocolate), Kulikki sherbet, Hara pudina shikanji, Kairi panna, Chocolate milkshake, Strawberry milkshake and Masala Thumbs up. I could proudly say that that all the different types of juices tasted pretty well and had the right proportion of key ingredients and a lot of emphasis was given to presentation. Critically the milkshakes and coco surat had a very foamy texture which was excellent sign meaning that the milk was blended well with the flavoured ice creams. kulikki sherbet, hara pudina shikanji, kairi panna and Masala Thumbs up were some of the traditional Indian fusion drinks which are not available everywhere and I would highly recommend the food lovers to move away from their typical choice and try something different. For appetizers we ordered Paneer cheese ka lifafa, Kothimbir wadi, Chilli cheese khari, Pizza dokhla, Pav bhaji fondue. Again, I was very amazed with the presentations as each dish was served specifically different and the idea of having paneer somehow played a role in supplementing for meat as it was filling. As per my taste notes Pav Bhaji Fondue was mind-blowing as I loved the tangy flavour of cooked tomato in thick gravy base. Now moving on to Main course we ordered Paneer tikka paratha, Methi matter, Paneer dum biriyani, Paneer butter masala, Kadai paneer and baby corn. All the dishes were amazing and especially the biryani was extremely good and highly recommendable. Finally moving on to desserts, I was amazed by the idea of using rabri as a side dish to compliment various s sweets like Jalebi, Gulab Jamun and Malpua as It helped to enhance the taste by adding more notes of different ingredients such as cardamom, condensed milk, pistachio and nuts. Final Verdict – Good place to experience the traditional vegetarian Indian dishes with a modern fusion at an affordable...

What a mind blowing experience for a complete Non Veg person like me into a purely Vegetarian Restaurant like really after visiting Rajdhani Street located in Karama my views about veg food is totally changed ! like man what food, what ambiance and presentation with such colorful, quirky vibes that will leave you in awe. Tried this place with my vegetarian friends and the experience was just perfect. Everything was just on point. An outstanding experience. A perfect Vegetarian treat where you can get delicious streetfood at its best. Guys do try this place for street style quick bites like Chaat and pani puri for satisfying your tastebuds.
Food Ordered 👇🏻
Dahi Papdi Chaat.
One of the finest chaat i ever had. What an amazing style of presentation truly impressed with the taste and the quantity. A scrumptious mouthwatering treat. Highly Recommended.
Gol Gappay.
I call them the round, small freshly made balls of happiness when dipped in spicy water with some tangy chutney it makes your life complete. Gol gappy is a not a snack it is a true pleasure of life . Too good.
Pav Bhaji.
Truely amazed how this place has given attention to every detail. I must say the creator is a true foodie who knows how to impress the other foodies . Small chunks of bread served with Mumbai Style pav bhaji. A small stove was placed under the dish to give you hot bite until the last chunk.
Tawa Pulao.
Spicy version of rice cooked with green peas served on a small cute little pot. As this dish was not that much appealing to my tastebuds due to its spice level but can be a source of pleasure to all pulao lovers.
Drinks.
Simply amazed to see the variety, variation, taste and presentation style of all drinks. Loved the shikanji served on a huge slim glass bottle topped with mints leaves. Jackfruit smoothie was something I never heard of but it was my friend all time favorite and taste was so delicious. They also have variety in golas ( Desi Ice pop ) tried the Kala Jamun Gala which was a treat too.
Desserts.
They have variety of desi desserts but simply in love with shahi tukra. What a taste simply fingerlicking. Small fried pieces of bread soaked in thick sweet saffron milk was a perfect treat to satisfy your sweettooth craving. A must try.
Overall Experience.
A vegetarian heaven from ambiance to food taste everything was so well balanced. The style of presentation and the funky Mumbai vibes with colorful seating gives you a perfect dining experience. The place is huge with one side designated only for Thalis and the colorful portion for the ala carte menu. Guys if your are craving for streetfood or some good vegetarian treat then this place should be on your list. Read moreWhen someone says chaat (Indian Street Food)- well who could ever say no to that right ?? . . Rajdhani Street should be your new bet for such cravings- they have one of the best fusionized Indian street style food. I mean: Oh God ! The food was drool worthy and we literally cudnt be more tempted. . . To start off with the puchka bombs- I am sure u have tried Gol Gappa, Pani Puri, even chocolate pani puri I guess. Now it's time to try the cheese burst crispy fried pani puri. Are u salivating yet?? These puchka bombs literally melt in your mouth with bursting savoury flavours. And to top it off add the little spicy water to add that punch.
We are still kids at heart & when the menu says maggi we gotta order it. Specially if it's a cheese burst maggi wrapped in a dosa. Sounds quite tempting right? Well it tastes equally delicious. That cheesy maggi wrapped in a nice thin dosa like a sandwich solves all your issues of eating maggi in public 😋. This surely is one of the must order dish @rajdhanistreet as it is a common dish, done uncommonly well !
Speaking of Dosas, they also have cheese and paneer dosa wraps which are equally cheesy and goes really well with the dips.
Rajdhani street believes in breaking stereo types and doing things their way which is quite unique. Have u ever had dahi papdi chaat in a Mason jar ? Well at rajdhani be amazed as they will serve this one of the favourite Indian chaat in a Mason jar along with the flavourful dahi in a jar on the side. I must tell u, this dish won our hearts. It left us with tantalising flavours and wanting us for more.
Thepla tacos- yes u heard us right. Indian version of the famous Mexican tacos. The only difference, these were flavoursome and appetizing & had that home like taste.
Other few dishes we tried were the dhoklas and tandoori paneer. Not our favourite but still a good option to try if u are someone who are fan of these two core elements.
For desserts we tried the malpuwa with rabri and mong dal halwa cigars with shrikhand. These are surely a sweet note to end on, however, the malpuwa tasted more like jalebi but since I love jalebi too so did enjoy its combination with rabri. The mong dal halwa wud have tasted little better if it was little cold as it was served...
