Bait Al Zain Mandi Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

PATHETIC!! PATHETIC!! PATHETIC!! DISAPPOINTMENT WITH THE FOOD SERVED, IF THE OWNER READS THIS - I NEED MY REFUND!! DO NOT EVER VISIT - DAFZA BAIT AL ZAIN MANDI DO NOT EVER VISIT THIS PLACE!! IT IS A MOOD SPOILER!!

Below is the reason to not visit the pathetic place for mandi :

1. they put boiled potato in the mutton/lamb soup which they serve which is like washed meat water. like seriously i never tasted a lamb soup with chunks of boiled potato into it
2. their rates are so high, but the food they serve is the below average food but the amount they charge is of some high five restaurant of Burj Khalifa.
3. Mutton Madhgout - i hate this place is because of the mutton madhgout, it was plain yellow rice which tasted like rice boiled in turmeric and one piece of mutton was there which was also only and only bone and they had an audacity to charge me 60 aed for this dish.
4. Cheese Kunafa - the cheese Kunafa they served us was worst Kunafa i ate in my life. the cheese inside it was so chilled that there was no cheese pull, the kunafa was not even freshly made. It tasted like cardboard, and they charged me another 12-15 aed for this
5. Then moving on with the siders like salad, curd (raita) - the raita was spoiled it tasted like some cheap quality curd adultized with milk i think.

I had high hopes for this mandi place next to DAFZA Metro, especially after seeing all the buzz on social media. Unfortunately, my experience didn’t live up to the hype. I ordered the Honey Chicken Madbi, and the chicken itself was well-cooked, the rest of the meal left much to be desired. The soup was bland, almost like warm salty rice water definitely not the flavorful start I was expecting. The rice was shockingly plain as well, with no seasoning or taste. I had to rely heavily on their spicy salsa to add some kind of flavor, which left me sweating by the end of the meal. The gentle man who served had switched on the air conditioner, but things took a turn when the nepali staff switched off the air conditioner after I had just started feeling uncomfortable in the heat. To make matters worse, the same Nepali staff member sat at the table next to me, wiped plates with no head-cover, and stared at me while I was visibly sweating. This lack of hygiene and attention to customer comfort was the final straw. Marking this as my first & last visit to these restaurant, and I suggest the restaurant owners to take a good look at its hygiene practices and customer service standards. We had such a wonderful experience at this restaurant, and it’s definitely one of the best mandi places we’ve ever tried. The food was outstanding — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Every dish we ordered came out quickly, and for a family of six, that made a big difference. The service was beyond amazing; everything was smooth, fast, and very well organized.

What really stood out was the staff. They were not only professional but also warm, friendly, and entertaining, which made the whole dining experience feel very welcoming. A special mention goes to our waiter, Khalid, who went above and beyond to assist us. He was attentive, kind, and made sure every detail was taken care of. His positive attitude and genuine hospitality left a lasting impression on us.
