recently had the pleasure of visiting Benjarong, the Thai restaurant located on the 24th floor of the Dustin Thani hotel, and I must say, it never fails to impress. This was my fourth visit, and each time I return, I am greeted with warmth and enthusiasm that makes me feel right at home. As soon as I stepped foot into the restaurant, I was offered a refreshing welcome drink of fresh coconut, which instantly transported me to a tropical paradise. The crispy prawn cakes served as an appetizer were simply divine, tantalizing my taste buds and making the wait for the main course all the more exciting. The attention to detail in the beautiful Asian interior design truly touched my soul. From the intricate artwork to the carefully chosen furniture, every element contributed to an ambiance that was both elegant and inviting. The soothing music playing in the background added to the overall calming atmosphere, allowing me to relax and fully enjoy my dining experience. But perhaps the highlight of dining at Benjarong is the breathtaking view from the 24th floor. The sight of the city lights and the iconic Burj Khalifa in the distance is nothing short of mesmerizing. It added a touch of sweetness to my eyes, making the entire experience even more memorable. I must commend the management and staff for their exceptional service. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels like a VIP. I would like to extend a special thank you to Tom and Momo, who made my dining experience truly unforgettable. Their attentiveness, knowledge, and friendly demeanor were a testament to the 5-star service provided at Benjarong. In conclusion, if you're looking for a Thai restaurant that offers not only delectable cuisine but also a stunning ambiance and top-notch service, look no further than Benjarong. With its delightful welcome drink, mouthwatering appetizers, captivating interior, and panoramic views, it is a true gem in the...
Read moreWe visited Benjarong for my dad’s birthday, and it was absolutely AMAZING! My family has very different food preferences, so it’s rare to find a restaurant that can accommodate everyone’s tastes and lifestyle choices. My mom and I love Thai food, while the rest of my family usually doesn’t (and bickers alot about it ),but after coming here, we all ate in complete silence because it was that good!
We started with the spring rolls, which were perfectly crispy without being too oily, and some prawn crackers. They even brought my mom a vegetarian version, which was such a thoughtful touch. Next time, I’m definitely trying the papaya salad as a starter.
For mains, the standout was hands down the Khao Soi (Please plase please try this, if you were to only get one dish I HIGHLY Reccomend this one) quite possibly the best dish I’ve ever had. We ordered the prawn version, and it was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right level of spice. We also tried the Gai Burger, which came with a flavorful mushroom side, and a vegetarian red curry with vegetables and tofu for my mom. If you have dietary preferences, let them know , they were happy to make the curry without shrimp paste for her.
To top it all off, they surprised us with a complimentary dessert for my dad’s birthday! The team came over, sang him “Happy Birthday,” and brought a coconut panna cotta, which was delicious.
Overall, the food, service, and thoughtful touches made this one of the best dining experiences we’ve ever had. Our server was also very very nice and honestly made us feel welcomed. Can’t wait to...
Read moreTucked away in the Dusit Thani Dubai, Benjarong is a true institution, a culinary haven that's been serving up authentic Thai flavours for years. This isn't some fly-by-night trend, my friends, this is the real deal. Stepping into Benjarong is like stepping into a Thai palace, with its classy ambience and décor that whispers tales of ancient traditions. It's the perfect setting for a romantic date night or a sophisticated catch-up with friends and family.
But let's talk about the food, shall we? Oh, my spice-loving souls, Benjarong's menu is a culinary symphony of Thai delights! The lamb and papaya salad was a revelation – tender slices of lamb mingling with the tangy papaya and a fiery dressing that woke up my taste buds. The tom yum soup was a fiery masterpiece, a fragrant broth packed with prawns and mushrooms that cleared my sinuses and warmed my soul. And the lamb chops with red curry? Well, let's just say they were so tender and flavorful, that they practically had me singing praises to the culinary gods. But the star of the show for me was the prawns curry – a rich, coconutty delight that had me mopping up every last drop with fragrant jasmine rice.
And a special shout-out to Zhyrum, the restaurant manager, whose hospitality and attentiveness added an extra layer of magic to the whole experience. So, my fellow food adventurers, if you're looking for a taste of Thailand that's both authentic and unforgettable, Benjarong is the place to be.
