THIS IS DUBAI CUSTOMER NUMBER 1
I have stayed in many hotels, but my recent experience with Rove Hotel – City Walk was by far the most deceptive and unprofessional stay I have ever had.
Before booking, I specifically requested a king-size bed and called the hotel three separate times to confirm it. Each time, I was told clearly, “Yes, you will have a king-size bed.” On the day of my check-in, I even asked again at reception before getting the keys, and they once again confirmed it.
After a 3-hour drive, I arrived at my room only to discover that their “king-size bed” was actually two single beds pushed together. This was never disclosed, and it was extremely uncomfortable with a gap in the middle. When I called reception, an employee named Abdullah openly admitted that “all king-size beds in this hotel are actually two single beds put together.” This is false advertising and pure deception.
At 5 p.m., I asked for a proper king bed. None was provided. I had booked for three nights but could not stay under these conditions. The hotel manager, Salah, personally called me and promised that if I checked out immediately, they would refund me for the two unused nights. Based on his word, I left the hotel the very next day.
What happened next was the final insult. The booking platform Trip.com contacted me later to say that the hotel refused my refund — directly contradicting the manager’s promise. This means I lost both my stay and my money for two nights.
This is dishonest, unprofessional, and disgraceful customer service. I was lied to multiple times by staff and management, tricked into leaving under false promises, and then left with no resolution. This not only ruined my weekend but also caused immense stress trying to chase an answer that never came.
I have stayed in hotels all over the world, and I have never experienced such a level of misconduct and deceit. Management clearly does not care about guests once they have your money.
I will continue to escalate this until it is resolved. Rove City Walk owes me a full refund of my health not money, for the weekend loss and have to compensate for the time, and the holiday they destroyed.

Read moreI had an absolutely wonderful stay at Rove City Walk, and I want to give a special mention to the reception staff, especially Ezzat, who made my experience truly exceptional. From the moment I checked in, Ezzat greeted me with such warmth and professionalism, making me feel instantly welcome. He was extremely attentive, patient, and ready to assist with anything I needed, whether it was information about the hotel facilities, directions for exploring City Walk, or helpful tips about Dubai. His genuine hospitality set the tone for my entire stay.
The hotel itself is modern, clean, and very comfortable. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, spacious enough for both leisure and business travelers, and equipped with everything you need for a convenient stay. I really appreciated the attention to detail in the room setup, from the cozy bed to the practical amenities that make you feel at home.
What stood out the most for me was not only the comfort of the property but the overall atmosphere. The hotel is vibrant and stylish, with a relaxed vibe that makes you want to spend time in the lobby or common areas. The location is also unbeatable—being right in City Walk means you have amazing dining, shopping, and entertainment options just steps away.
Overall, I can confidently say this is one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had in Dubai. The team at Rove City Walk goes above and beyond to make guests feel comfortable, and people like Ezzat at reception truly make a lasting impression. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai, and I will definitely come back for...
