A very exhilarating experience for sure. I bought the combo ticket that included the At the Top for the Burj Khalifa and the Edge Walk. This also includes a short glass slide ride with a carpet (not too exciting in comparison to the Edge Walk). I arrived at the Sky View observatory from the Burj Khalifa Metro stop. It's a 3 min walk or so to get from the station to the entrance to the observatory, which is clearly marked. As a result I recommend if taking this route giving yourself about 30min from your time slot to get there, be processed through the security at the Observatory, and time to take the lift up to the 53rd floor. From there you will be directed to the Edge Walk processing station where you will sign a waiver, slip on a one piece jumpsuit, and be suited up with the harness. If you wish to use your phone for videos and pics, you will be asked to hand it over to the processing team so that they can place it in a transparent pouch you can tether to your harness. After processing, you will be directed to a room to be attached to the guide rail and will be given a short demonstration on how to position yourself over the ledge for the prime photo op. After practicing, you follow single file with your party and the instructors and photographer along the rail outdoors leading to your first stop on the Edge Walk to take pictures of the view and if daring enough, walk to the edge and "sit" leaning over the edge of the flooring. It's quite exhilarating at this point, particularly as your responsible and reasonable part of the brain tries to disuade you. However, the experience is totally safe with two means of tethering you to the guide rail, so rest assured you can be daring. After the first stop you are led to the other side of the building for another stop and photo op. Finally, you finish with a chance to make a 10 second video using their pre positioned cameras. Make it count, you only have one shot! After finishing the video you are led back inside to be decoupled from the rail and harness. From there, you are free to explore a restaurant and lounge, take the free carpet ride mentioned earlier (and with a skip the line privilege which was nice). You are also given an opportunity to view and purchase your pictures and video at a nearby kiosk. If I had any critique, it was this part of the experience mainly price. It's about 150 to 200 AED each picture or you can get all pictures and video for 600 AED. Really it leaves you with buying the bundle given the photographer took 30 plus photos and videos. It does include the photo taken from the glass slide carpet ride. Again, very pricey for pictures, but when in Dubai.... Overall, I would recommend this experience for thrill seekers. Just take note of transit and processing time, so you don't miss...

Our visit to Sky Views Observatory in Dubai was absolutely unforgettable! This place exceeded all our expectations and provided an incredible experience for our entire family, including our child. We were amazed by the affordable price and the thrilling futuristic views from the top floor.
First of all, the ticket prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the experience we had. It made it easy for us to bring the whole family along without breaking the bank. Upon entering, we were greeted by friendly and helpful staff who guided us through the process and made us feel welcome.
The highlight, of course, was the view from the top floor. Oh, what a breathtaking sight it was! The futuristic skyline of Dubai was laid out before us like a magnificent work of art. The panorama was unlike anything we had ever seen before, and it truly felt like we were in a sci-fi movie, gazing at the city of tomorrow.
The observatory was impeccably maintained, and the observation deck offered unobstructed views from all angles. It was fascinating to watch the bustling city life from such a height, and the city lights at night added a magical touch to the experience.
For families with children, this place is an absolute must-visit. The kids were equally thrilled and mesmerized by the view. There were informative displays and interactive exhibits that kept them engaged and learning about the city's history and landmarks. It was a perfect blend of education and fun!
The whole experience was made even better by the attentive and knowledgeable staff. They were readily available to answer our questions and share interesting tidbits about the city and its architecture.
In conclusion, Sky Views Observatory provided an incredible, futuristic experience that was both affordable and family-friendly. The memories we made during our visit will stay with us forever. If you're visiting Dubai, don't miss the chance to witness the world from this fantastic vantage point. We can't wait to go back and do it...
Read moreThe only decent part about this place is that it is located next to the metro station and easy to locate. The view is nothing special, and the whole experience was a waste of time and money. The glass on the floor and the wall were so dirty that it was impossible to take images or a video. There was no vibe at this place, such as slow music at the back, which might have made a difference as the place felt so empty and kind of scary with dim lights. The moment we entered, we met with aggressive security at the ticket check-in; however, we ignored it and moved on. No one explains to you about the place, what experience to expect, or where to go, so you are kind of wondering and lost and figuring it out by yourself. We managed to reach the first area, which is where you go and slide down and has a very small space to see the view. For us, no one bothered to explain that this area is only for sliding and checking the view; however, your main experience is downstairs to click images, etc. As we were checking the view and clicking a few images, the security next to us without any acknowledgement started saying you can't click so many pictures from here; this is only for 1-2 images (while me and my friend are engaged in a conversation). I was like, Okay, fine, but then where can we click? Is this it? He mentioned it's downstairs, and I was like, How am I supposed to know when no one bothered to tell me? There are no signs saying that your main experience is downstairs, and this area is only for sliding. The security guy had no idea how to approach, explain, or ask us in a polite and professional way to go downstairs. I had never felt such disrespect in Dubai before; it's a place where people are the most polite, yet I was met with the most disrespectful and ill-mannered people, which was such a disappointment, resulting in not enjoying the experience I paid for. Only if he had decent manners and was trained properly in how to approach customers could this have turned out...
