The Food Bazaar on Jumeirah is a nice concept restaurant, adjoining the Fresh Bazaar shop.
Despite few previous reviews read on Google maps, we wanted to try it for ourselves and on the whole we weren't disappointed at all 👏🏻.
The atmosphere and decoration make the experience even more unique ; the team in service and cuisine is extremely professional and nice.
let’s get down to basics and talk about the culinary adventure 🤩 our lunch was composed of a welcome tasty lentils soup, offered by the house and followed by :
Iranian hotdog sandwich - 16 AED : honestly the best hotdog I have ever eaten ⭐️ I don’t know the ones from New York (the city or hotdog) but the Iranian one is really tasty and great.
Meat Koobideh - 30 AED : such a great discovery with this Kabab plate. It was really tasty and most important, very juicy / in the kebab world, juicy = delicious / ⭐️ Good value for money
Joojeh Kebab / with Saffron rice - 55 AED : this chicken kebab marinated in saffron was really good, as it is difficult to find tasty Joojeh nowadays. The saffron rice on side was really soft and tasty too. Not my number one Joojeh but can be easily in my top 5 in Dubai ; also, it might be bit expensive for this meal, due to the adding of rice, but consider that the rice feed 2 adults, so at the end, it is worthy to take 1 to share.
Dessert time / Creamy Chou - 7 AED per piece: this is Officially the best Chou Puff I tried in UAE ; the cream mixed with chocolate gave a great result, the level of sugar don’t bother as it is discreet and the texture of the Chou itself is delicious. ⭐️ As French that grown surrounded by this Pastry type I have to said Bravo 👏🏻
Saffron tea - 8 AED : very tasty, rich in flavors and no bitter at all ; no need to add any sugar, unlike many places where the bitterness of tea means you have to sweeten it to enjoy it ⭐️.
If I had to make one small negative point, it's that knowing Iranian hospitality well, and eating regularly in Iranian restaurants in the UAE, this is the first time I've paid for tea at the end of a meal.
It's well worth the price, but some people who would have eaten a full meal might be a bit "piqued" by it (I'm excluding from my analysis someone who would come just to have a cup of tea, of course).
Also, as the soup was offered at the beginning of the meal, this may compensate for the paid tea. Once again, nothing dramatic.
Special beverage : everyone that love rose drinks should try the Rose Water Herbal Drink - 8 AED ; it is amazingly tasty ⭐️ The Botle is also for sale in fresh bazaar shop.
This new adventure was really a great discovery, I will retain as recommendations ⭐️ : Meat Koobideh / Hotdog sandwich / Chocolate cream Puff / Saffron tea / Rose drink.
I can not wait to try soon new meals from the Menu.

Read moreNever had Persian food that tasted very excellent !!!!
This is the first time of my life in the UAE that I tried Persian food that tasted very Persian . I tried the Zereshk Polo which is a pretty hard dish to make it perfect and it tasted far beyond perfect and I wasn’t even that hungry . The quality of the food is mind blowing . The quantity is at least for 3 people because the dish is so big but if you like to eat a lot that could be enough for one person , we ended up having left overs and we were two .
Besides the food the staff were very polite to me as they took my order and served us our food . There is also a supermarket beside the food bazaar but unfortunately they don’t serve any Persian groceries . Sometimes they have a concert inside the restaurant but I don’t really know on what days do they have a concert . The prices a very affordable.
This restaurant is my favorite Persian restaurant that I have ever been with good service and...
