J1 Beach in Dubai is hands down one of the most impressive beachfront dining destinations I’ve experienced. With 13 incredible restaurants and beach clubs, it offers a variety of flavors, vibes, and luxury that’s unmatched.
Here’s a quick rundown of some favorites:
African Queen – A perfect blend of French and African flavors. The steak and artichoke vinaigrette were unforgettable! The ambiance is chic yet welcoming.
Almayass By The Sea – Lebanese-Armenian fusion done right. The kabab karaz and manti are must-tries. The view by the sea adds to the experience.
Bâoli Dubai – If you love East Asian flavors in a stunning, jungle-inspired atmosphere, this is the place to be. It’s vibrant and classy at the same time.
Chouchou – A sophisticated French beach house club. The food is upscale French cuisine, and the poolside vibe is perfect for a luxurious day out.
Gigi Rigolatto – Italian elegance at its finest. From the restaurant to the pool and beach access, it’s the ideal weekend escape. Their pasta was exceptional!
Gitano – Mexican flair with Tulum vibes! Loved the boho-chic décor and their modern twist on traditional dishes.
Lúnico – Spanish-Mediterranean dishes in a lively atmosphere. The coastal view made it even better. Great for late-night dining and drinks!
Sakhalin – Michelin-starred excellence with a mix of Mediterranean and Asian flavors. It’s refined yet laid-back, offering the best of both worlds.
J1 Beach is the perfect spot whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a beachside lunch, or a fun night out with friends. The variety is outstanding, and every restaurant has its own unique personality. Highly recommend visiting – I’ll definitely be back to...

La Mer beach used to be my go to place during weekends .. there were beautiful ambience, sea, walkways, shops, food outlets and places to sit and chill.... I used to take every guests of mine first to La mer beach.... now they redeveloped it into a commercial one where you can't enter or even see a glimpse of the sea, until you book table in one of the restaurants that lined the beach and guards it from your view and reach. Well, it may be earning more revenue for the developers.. But, the aesthetic is gone..
Dubai is beautiful with its beaches and blue water sea and golden sand.. And money minded developers are just ruining it. Commercialising everything.. this is not called BEACH Sir (whoever redeveloped it) .. call it a 'Restaurant chain'.
Beach is : where anybody can walk, bathe, sit, chill, breathe, eat, shop ... that makes people also happy, businesses also thrive..
Not sure, how much profit this redeveloper would be making by depriving people from enjoying the beach freely .

Read moreThe wallet was really bad! The beach and swimming pool which we wanted to go was closed, the wallet didn’t inform us. So after getting know we came back in 3 minutes and explained the situation and asked for our car but they said we have to pay 75 AED and they don’t care if it was closed! The manager mr. Soheil Ahmad was so rude with us and he didn’t know any thing about customer care! And he was saying we are separate from restaurant and beach club so it’s not our duty to inform you if it is closed! And you have no other option than giving the car to wallet and go to check the place by urself!!!! It’s unfair to pay 75 AED for 3 minutes and then waiting 25 minutes in hot weather to get...
