First time at La Baia in J1 Beach and the setting is without doubt beautiful, with a relaxed beachfront atmosphere that feels far from the city.

As an Italian, I had high expectations for the cuisine. Prices are much more higher than in similar quality restaurants. When I ordered a mushroom risotto, no one asked if I wanted Parmigiano, which is a small but important detail in Italian dining. Seeing both the Pizza Margherita and the tiramisu at 25 euros each felt unusual for anyone used to Italian prices.

We decided to try the tiramisu and it was exactly like the real one from Italy, something not easy to find in foreign countries. They also offered us a complimentary non alcoholic coffee drink with a traditional Italian biscuit, which was a nice touch.
