Jing Ding Xuan Sichuan Restaurant 金鼎轩川味馆 — Restaurant in Dubai

17/6/2022 We came here for brunch. We ordered spicy chicken, 口水雞, 油麥菜, 紅糖糍粑. Was a bit disappointed coz they gave us mainly bones, no meat in the 口水雞, so I went to talk to the chef. He said that's how they make it now. We have been here many times, first time it was mainly meat from the thigh. Anyways, to make me happy, they gave us a small discount.

We ordered more dishes coz we were not full. We wanted another plate of 紅糖糍粑, he said already sold out. We suspect he didn't wanna cook it for us. That was one of our favourites. Then we ordered a 通菜仔啲。 It was overly cooked. Sadly, We won't be going there again. 😣 (Will still keep to the 5 star, coz it was once very good)

2021/9, 6 months ago Best Chinese Sichuan restaurant in Dubai. This is almost our regular dinner place. Tasty authentic Sichuan dishes. We like to request for less salty and oily. The chef always make it how we want it. Friendly staff. Clean and hygienic.

If you don't know Chinese or English, better order your food at the counter. Or you can use Google translation. Works all the time.

Price is reasonable.

If you are looking for authentic Chinese food, this restaurant is truly worth a visit. The selection is surprisingly extensive, and the flavors bring that comforting “feel-good” Chinese home-cooking style. Each dish is well-balanced — flavorful without being overpowering. Even the desserts are thoughtfully prepared and can satisfy any palate.

The staff are very accommodating and attentive, which adds to the overall pleasant experience. While the exterior of the location may look a bit modest, the interior is family-friendly, clean, and welcoming. One small area of improvement would be the air conditioning, as the dining area can feel a bit warm at times.

That said, I would still highly recommend this place, especially for families, as they also offer private rooms of varying capacities on the third floor. Overall, it’s a restaurant I would definitely go back to and gladly...

Food: Awesome! Everything is spicy but awesome! We ordered more than what's on photos. 1 order of Dried Spicy Chicken is AED45 and it's good for 3-4 people. You'll keep ordering since it's delicious😍. Btw, beer taste better with their food.

They have shabu shabu too but haven't tried. But as the server said, they cook it. You can't cook at the table.

Service: Okay. At some point the server is good at what he does.

Atmosphere: Good. If you book a room it's like you'll have to order food for approximately AED400 or more.
