This is by far the worst customer service I have experienced. We went to this restaurant around 8pm. It was full and was hard to find a table. We went around to check if there is any vacant table but it’s all occupied. Then we passed by an unbussed table, we looked around to find a staff who can assist us. Luckily, one waiter was there so we asked him to clear the table and if possible that there is a way to reserve it because we still haven’t ordered. He said yes and went somewhere. When he got back, he was holding this “RESERVE” sign. He cleaned the table and put the sign afterwards. We then went to the counter and order. While we are ordering, 2 guys were already on our table together with the supervisor named RAVI. When we went to ask why these 2 guys are seating in our reserved table, Ravi said that he was the one who put the reserve sign in that table. We told him that we were there first and that one of the staff put that sign. He then insisted that he was the one who put it and that HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN PUT THE RESERVE SIGN IN THE TABLE. He continued to argue with us. He told us that he will find a table for us. He wanted to let us be seated in their updining but we do not want there. Then he insisted that he will put a table near entrance going up, but who would want to seat on that area where we will look like pitiful. Ravi did not even show remorse while talking to us. He keeps on insisting that those guys were there first and did not even bother to hear our side. Somehow, we felt that he was being a racist. Just because we are Filipinos and those guys were not Filipinos? We insisted that we will cancel the order because we are very hungry and we encountered this kind of service from Ravi. We then asked to talked to the manager. But before we were able to talked to the manager, he already gave false information. Luckily, the manager listened to us. We told what happened and she said that we can check the CCTV footage. Ma’am Joan found us a table. She went to check the footage. I even told her that if we were wrong, I will be the first to apologize to that supervisor. When we finished our meal, she came back to us and narrated what she saw in the footage. It’s exactly the same story that we told, not the version of Ravi. He came back also to our table and offered a plate of fruits. He said sorry but you can feel that it was not sincere at all. We do not need any complementary. I did not even enjoyed the food because of what he did. We felt belittled.
To the management, this incident might not be the first from this supervisor. Ravi is not fit for the job. If you work in a customer oriented business, do not argue with the customer. Do not let them feel that they are not welcome in your restaurant. Do not be a RACIST. Listen and understand your customers’ needs.
To Ma’am Joan, thank you for assisting and...
Read moreI would like to file a complaint about a staff member named Aja, who works as a cashier at Asian Cuisine. The incident occurred earlier today, around 7:00 PM. The line was long and moving slowly because Aja was chatting with her fellow employees instead of focusing on her work. When I reached the front of the line, she didn’t immediately ask for my food order because she was still busy talking to her coworkers. I had to wait for them to finish their conversation. When she finally took my order, they were still talking, and she did not repeat my order before charging me. I paid using my ATM card and placed it in the machine. After completing the transaction, I turned around and left. As I was walking away, I realized I hadn’t been given a receipt, nor had the circle light indicating I should wait for my food been activated.
I returned to Aja and asked her where my receipt was and why the circle was not lit. Aja responded to me in a raised, rude tone, saying that my ATM card didn’t work. I asked her why she hadn’t informed me that my card didn’t work, and she responded that it was my responsibility to check. She then told me to leave immediately. I explained to her that it was her job to notify me if there was an issue with my card, so I could top it up, but she insisted that she wasn’t focused on my card and was instead distracted by people in the distance, where someone was clapping. She also blamed me for the issue with my card.
The behavior displayed by Aja was unprofessional and rude. She lacked manners and was inattentive to her duties, spending more time chatting with other staff members than doing her job. Such employees should not be in customer service positions, as they can negatively impact the reputation of your business. Due to the poor treatment I received, I will not be returning to your...
Read moreNot worth the hype. I have heard a lot of great reviews from my friends about this place so I decided to give it a go. This place is situated 34km from where I live so I have high expecations.
Service- Unlike other restaurants who have limited manpower, this place has more than enough staff to attend their guests. No one seemed to be interested to explain how their restaurant service works. Like where to get food, sauces which is kind of hidden on the corner, what kind of food they have and which section to get and order it from. You will really have to fix the puzzle to be able to understand their dynamics. They were too busy chatting with their co-workers that they can't say hi hello nor smile at all.
Atmosphere- Though there are signboards which would tell you what kind of section it is, i believe it would still be welcoing if someone can assist on explaining the different stations especially where the sauces are kept. I only saw it when i was about to leave. It was not crowded so it was good.
Food- It's a total disappointment. I ordered their special which is the chili dry chicken and egg fried rice. The fried rice was not warm at all. It was in room temperature and for sure it was cooked a few hours before. It doesn't taste fresh at all. With enough manpower, i couldn't understand why they can't cook it fresh especially when the operation was not busy at all. But the chilli chicken was the worst. Totally dry and no meat in most part. Ratio was 99% chicken bones coated with batter, 8% chicken skin and only 3% has meat. What are you trying to prove here? Cooked in advance (hours before. No doubt!) and fried again when there's an order which became so dry.
The management should look into these matters. Portion sizes were decent but the quality is a let down....
