From the moment we stepped into this Korean restaurant in Dubai, we were immediately embraced by a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ambiance radiated good energy welcoming, vibrant, and full of character. It genuinely felt like a slice of Seoul transported to the UAE.

We were warmly greeted by one of the service crew members, Alex, whose bright smile and gracious hospitality set the tone for the entire evening. First impressions matter and Alex’s genuine welcome made an outstanding one.

The restaurant’s spacious layout added to the comfort of the experience. There was plenty of room to move around, and the interiors were thoughtfully designed with elements that evoked a traditional Korean aesthetic modern, yet deeply rooted in cultural charm. Every detail of the setup made it easy to feel transported to Korea without ever leaving Dubai.

The food selection was both extensive and impressively curated. Every dish was beautifully presented, thoughtfully labeled, and easy to choose from an ideal menu setup for both Korean cuisine aficionados and first-time diners alike. And the prices? Surprisingly affordable, making it accessible for everyone who wants to indulge in authentic Korean flavors without breaking the bank.

The service was exemplary. I experienced prompt, efficient, and seamless service throughout the evening. No delays, no confusion, just pure professionalism. I’d like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the exceptional staff who attended to us. Timothy, Dan, and Alexis. These three went above and beyond in ensuring we had an extraordinary dining experience.

A standout moment of the night was the surprise entertainment, courtesy of the energetic and talented singing and dancing crew: Keby, John, and CJ. Their heartfelt performances and engaging presence added a joyful, unforgettable layer to our evening.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the chefs behind the scenes. The dishes were expertly prepared from the grilled meats to the soups and side dishes. Each bite bursting with authentic flavor and culinary precision. Bravo to the kitchen team for delivering such excellence!

This evening was, without question, one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve ever had. I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends in Abu Dhabi and beyond. It offers not just a meal, but an immersive journey into Korean cuisine and culture. Truly, there’s no need to travel to Korea when such a remarkable experience is available right here in Dubai.

Overhyped restaurant and most reviews are suspicious. This is the kind of restaurant you go to if you want to show on Instagram that you’ve eaten Korean food, but have never actually eaten real Korean food before. It’s definitely not authentic.

The servers are mechanical, who are just good at standing at the door and chatting among themselves, repeating phrases but aren’t really logical nor flexible.

We were a group of 7 trying to get a corner seat at a single table together. They just couldn’t get it and kept offering us tables that were separate even though there were said larger tables at corners. They also randomly close and open tables for different groups of guests.

Next, the food. I think any Korean eating here would be sorely disappointed at how this restaurant has butchered their wonderful cuisine and tried to pass it off as Korean cuisine. The banchan are all cheap ingredients that do no justice to the textured flavours of the cuisine. Everything is over-flavoured.

Don’t waste time and calories here, go to somewhere else. Also, google tried to block this review, so god knows how many of the real bad reviews were left out just to artificially showcase this...

We had an amazing dlunch at Romantic Baka in Dubai and it completely exceeded our expectations. The Korean BBQ was incredibly tasty — top-quality meats, perfectly marinated, and grilled right at the table to your liking. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the side dishes (banchan) were generous and delicious, adding to the full Korean dining experience.

What really made the lunch special was the service. The staff were over-the-top kind — so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely happy to help. They walked us through the menu, made great recommendations, and even helped with the grilling, ensuring everything turned out just right. You can feel the care and warmth in every interaction.

The atmosphere is cozy yet vibrant — a great mix of fun and cozy, perfect for date nights or small groups looking for something special and flavorful. It felt like a hidden gem in the city.
