I read a lot of reviews, I don't know if they are all true. I personally was very unhappy with my stay! This price! Especially their management system, they really made me very disappointed with the service in Dubai! After taking a shower on the first night, I couldn't find the hair dryer in the bathroom. I searched for a long time before I found it in the table cabinet by the window. When I took it out, oh my god! It was still the old-fashioned hair dryer connected to the wall. The highest setting was so hot, and the low setting was not hot enough. And the cord/cable was super short! You have to lower your head to blow, and there is no mirror! You have to sweat all over when you blow your hair.
I got up in the morning and prepared to go out, but ironing clothes made me angry. The iron seemed to have not been used for a long time. I was going to use it to iron clothes, and it immediately stained my new white clothes! I looked at the bottom of the iron, it was dirty! Are you kidding me? Seems it had not been cleaned, this shows their management of details is very poor. Especially the glass partition at the water bar, the dust on it has not been cleaned from check-in to check-out.
I complained to them, but the manager never came out. They sent the person from houskeeping to change my iron! I was speechless. My new clothe was covered with dirty marks. My mood for the whole day was ruined! They just changed the iron! Just changed the iron! Just changed the iron! I really can't believe it! They even said it was a 5-star hotel! What kind of management system!
I stayed for a few days, and no management asked any questions. They don't care about the customer's stay experience at all!
Two or three days later, the front desk called to ask if there were any problems with the check-in. I reported a lot of problems, including the iron, and she actually asked me if you did not send for laundry? Oh my God! Aren't you responsible for cleaaning it for me! Asking me such a question, the hotel facilities are poor, and the customers are responsible for it themselves? Too speechless! Too infuriating! There are other complaints, and they are just as unpleasant as if they didn't listen, and the rest of the days they did not show any concernes. So, I think the general manager of this hotel should think about this kind of service attitude. Is it what a star hotel should have? This is a super funny hotel.
The following days were even funnier. I returned to the room in the middle of the night and found that the curtains could not be closed. I called the housekeeping department and someone came and said it was broken. It was about 1:20 in the morning. Someone was sent to fix it and found that it could not be fixed. They said they would fix it tomorrow. Now they manually closed it. The next day, they came to fix it and found that it could not be fixed. Hahaha... I had to pull it myself.
There were too many small problems that does not want to take my time to write it any more. I just think this is the most ridiculous stay I have ever had. I am still furious! I wanted to change hotels after the first night, but the platform conditions did not allow refunds the rest of the stay for my booking!

   Read moreI stayed at this hotel with my family. The hotel is centrally located, and the Dubai Mall, for example, is within easy and quick reach. The hotel's facilities are very modern and leave nothing to be desired. Detox water is available at all times, and you're fully catered for. The hotel's breakfast is very extensive. If you want a varied meal, this is the place for you. Those who eat a healthy, protein-rich diet will especially enjoy it. There's a selection of coffee specialties that you can order at your table and then have them served. Eggs are also freshly prepared and served in any form. At this point, a big compliment goes to Ayoub, Eiei, and Mehedi. The staff was extremely accommodating. They always made sure we lacked nothing, without being intrusive. Due to the heat, we spent most of the day at the hotel pool. The pool area is a perfect place to relax. Everything is very clean, and the sun loungers, including hanging chairs and loungers, offer plenty of opportunities to unwind. Mathias and Faisal, who, among other things, work as lifeguards at the pool, are very friendly. They are always very attentive to hotel guests and are always polite. They are always available to answer questions and ensure safety during pool time. They never let the pool out of our sight, and that gave us a good feeling. Ned, as a waiter, always made sure we stayed hydrated at the pool and always provided detox water for guests. He doesn't push his way around trying to sell anything, but lets guests relax and watches to see if anyone gestures to order. We haven't experienced that at other destinations, and it put us in a very positive mood. If you don't feel like leaving the hotel in the evening, you can enjoy delicious cocktails at the pool bar. We were very impressed. Great drinks. A football broadcast on TV and a great selection of music invite you to linger. Bibek, Daviah, and Theresia work at the bar in the evenings and work wonderfully as a team. They create a special atmosphere. Their positive attitude rubs off on the guests, making it a pleasure to stay there. They also don't force drinks on anyone and constantly check from a distance to make sure we don't lack anything, giving us space to chat with each other. Bibek, one of the waiters, tried to answer all our questions clearly, as our English isn't the best :). The entire staff made our stay a wonderful, relaxing vacation, and we thank them for their hard work, their great work, the many pleasant conversations, and their friendliness.    Read moreLast year I was here and had a few issues and did a bit of a negative review and was not going to come back. With IHG promotions I could not say no. This time I would like to say it is one of the best stays I have had anywhere. I travel a bit and over 120 nights a year in 10 countries with just IHG so have a bit of experience. The great hospitality started from when my car pulled up in the driveway with the concierge beaming smile and welcome. Then the happines oozed from the guy at check in so either he was a great actor and should be in hollywood or it was a great workplace. I was not in the finest of moods coming here but my spirits were lifted already. Then up to my room and as a IHG rewards member I was upgraded and a very nice upgrade to a one bedroom suite with fabulous creek views. Now it is off season so this is special and do not expect in high season but would be so nice. The SERVICE - just brilliant, a little cheeky, comforting but always professional and very very welcoming.I feel staff here mean it when they wish you well. THE FOOD - everyting was excellent, not the slightest thing to complain about and the best Lamb Chops (Cutlets) I have had in many years and would have at least once a month. Also the Chicken Breast just superb and the garlic prawns on my pizza, I can go on. Buffett Breakfast - sadly no club room here so I can't hide away as I have over 150 a year and I am not the best to talk on this, but great choice and the food I had was fresh and tasty, but still a buffett. Although I did have fresh eggs benidict which was great. STAFF- all were excellent, some not too happy at times but dealing with some of the guests I seen I can understand. Only have 2 names to mention Mustafa on reception who assisted with extending my stay twice and Rpkesh in housekeeping. There are so many others but did not get names when writing this. So in summary I dont know what happend from last year to now but it is so good to see the improvement and thats why I extended twice instead of going to another hotel which was my original plan. Negative bits - smoking on level 2 but they need a place I guess. I also used points for my 2 extensions and as diamond elite ambassador complimentry breakfast and discount off all food and non alcohol drinks. So my 2 extensions 8 nights on points with NO cash outlay valued at 8033 AED approx ($3400 AUD $2187 USD) and less my discounts on restaurant of about 400 AED.
