Pickl JLT — Restaurant in Dubai

It took some time to phrase these first few sentences for this place, the burgers at Pickl blew my mind off. Each bite did show how much efforts they have put into serving us fresh food. What I heard is they prepare their signature pickles every morning and during weekends their special sauces/spices. The servers was kind enough to suggest and we ordered what they recommended. I did dine in JLT branch, due to pandemic, the safety precaution taken are at high standards. Each table has got hand sanitizers placed and they have maintained the tables with enough social distance. Getting back to what I tried is as below, Started off with their Milk Shakes – Salted Caramel and Chocolate version. It was very refreshing and since it was pretty hot that day. I heard from my friends that I can’t handle the Nashville heat, I thought why not take a challenge. Ordered their Chicken Sando and the heat level I chose was the Nashville of course, I didn’t want to risk and take the Reaper though, may be next time 😊. Freshly fried chicken with a crispy coat, topped with Pickl’s secret comeback sauce, dill pickles and lettuce in a Potato Bun. The first bite and after a few munch the heat started going up, well it was a warning, but the taste was tremendous. Juicy yet spicy, I couldn’t imagine how the reaper will be 😊 Next Came in the Chicken Katsu Curry Burger, this is their trademark burger with fried chicken, coated in flaky Japanese panko breadcrumbs, smothered in katsu curry gravy, crunchy napa slaw, topped with umami style kewpie mayo, hot and tangy togarashi lemon and in their signature potato bun. Well the potato Bun actually takes up all the sauce not making it soggy, hence it was delicious. This is a limited edition burger and only available for dine-in only. Beef lovers, don’t miss this out. Bacon Cheese Burger, it is piled with beef bacon, gooey cheese, their secret sauce, pickles and onions in a potato bun. Each bite was a bliss and will definitely go back to have this again. For Zayan we had ordered the Chicken Tenders Meal, as mentioned it was tender and it went perfectly well with the Comeback sauce. He truly enjoyed it. Summers are up and Pickl has introduced refreshingly cool dessert, the Ice Cream Sando. It comes in three flavours and it will be difficult to choose between Strawberry cheesecake, salted caramel or the double chocolate. Ice creams are placed between deep-fried cinnamon sugar bun and sauce. This can be availed as dine-in only at Pickl. I wish them all the best and maintain the same standards, I am sure you...

What is going on with pickl over the last 4-5months? Things have changed for the worse...

*Portion sizes smaller! *Prices increasing! *Missing food items! *Messy fries with bacon... Literally no bacon! *You pay for additional sauces only for them not to include the sauces you should be receiving in the first place.... *Cold food 3/5 times - it used to always be warm on arrival!

Pickl is less consistent than it once was! Has there been a change in management somewhere? Or are they quality control managers just working too thin on the ground?

I have seen Pickl is currently constructing their new "head office"... Are they cutting costs to pay for the expansion? Perception is reality and it seems to me the consumer is receiving less yet paying more!

At this point, it feels like the company is losing its touch with what made Pickl so great - 'consistent... great... fresh... food!'

I often order a delivery or eat at the Pickl restaurant in JLT. The most consistent burger I've had in Dubai! Whether it's delivery or fresh in the restaurant, standard is great! Generous burger patties, good amount of sauce and a choice of fillings to include or exclude!

You can't go wrong with most things on the menu!

For me the go to is a double bacon cheeseburger meal with messy fries and a side of tenders!

An absolute delight to your taste buds !! You’d leave this place planning your next visit that’s my promise !!!!

Now the menu is limited, it’s a burger place, but they’ve breakfast during weekdays, and a delicious salad or two for just in case you wanna go back and not seem weird to keep ordering the burgers on repeat & I had a friend go inn who recommended the milk shakes.

I recommend the cheese burger in meat & the chicken Sando for fried chicken lovers. For the meat the double cheese burger is good enough a portion, I wouldn’t add a patti but don’t let that stop you. The chicken sando is a actual piece of fried chicken, you can choose your spice level for this, do not go full onn cause that’s not for the faint hearted these people are as serious about their spice as for the pickles.

Skip the normal and order the Sando fries,which come with chunks of fried chicken and the come back sauce should’ve been named want more !!! 🙈😆 cause it’s very addictive!!!

They’ve chicken tenders that are so delicious!! I don’t have the word to describe their crunch & the Nashville spice , oh well ! Can make you skip a few heart beats !! Totally worth it. Should’ve been three per order but are sadly two ! 🙁

You can order pickles separately & do come with everything too! Please is rated four stars only cause of limited choice and being slightly not flexible to having your burger your way ! Overall it’s a five star ! Definitely highly...
