Hot Air Balloon UAE — Attraction in Dubai

If I could give zero stars I would.

Summary: unprofessional, do not care once they get your money, super bad customer service if they cancel on you you are NOT THE PRIORITY (since they already have your money)

First issue, sent an email asking usual questions about what time to get there etc. Received NO REPLY. So used their FAQ page which stated to come at 5:15.

Booked a nurse (as we have a 5 month old and needed a baby sitter) so an added 600 aed expense (knowing okay it might get canceled but a risk willing to take)

We drive there and get calls saying we are late should arrive at 4:45 even though we emailed and ASKED then used THEY'RE OWN FAQ PAGE INFO.

The lady there made us VERY uncomfortable later ( after being there for 30 mins based on weather it got canceled. Completely okay as that's safety so we didn't mind.)

What I did mind was that we got given a new date and as I was scrambling finding new nurses etc and getting everything ready and confirming for the new date. We get an email saying sorry fully booked here is a new date.

I called and said same lady was very uncaring didn't seem to care at all about the predicament nor did she want to talk on the phone. She was like reply to the Email saying you want a refund. No "oh we are sorry to hear this, it was our fault and we should figure something out. Or even a normal why can't you do the second date as we are flying out." let's figure out a way to make you get on the balloon. Since it was a cancelation on they're part they should 100% put us as a priority for the next flight.

We didn't pay 1400 + an additional 100 to be treated like this. I really wouldn't recommend this place because they are unprofessional do not reply to emails and honestly don't seem to care at all about customer...

I had done so much research into all the providers of these hot air balloon packages and found that Hot Air Balloon UAE came out the best for quality of package and best for price too. I can tell you I was not disappointed, they provided a fantastic service from start to finish, I was kept informed before the booking by a lovely person called Pinal Chauhan, times for hotel pick up, itinery etc nothing was left to chance fantastic company. We were picked up at our hotel bang on time by our driver who was called Adeeb. He was the consumate professional, he drove us to the site of the balloon launch which all went perfectly as planned, its was a fantastic experience, all the crew on hand made you feel at ease. After the flight Adeeb drove us to a camp in the desert where we had an amazing spread of freshly cooked breakfast, eggs, sausage toast, breads, fruit etc it was excellent, camel rides, horse rides, then he took us to do some dune bashing, Adeeb did this himself in his Nissan patrol and he was very experienced at it, we then had 20 mins doing quad biking before Adeeb returned us right on queue back to hotel. We had a great flight with Hot Air Ballon UAE! Swift reply on our inquiry via the website and smooth booking experience and great information exchange with Leo via WhatsApp. Hotel pickup by driver Adnan was punctual.

Flight preparation on-site was smooth and considerate. Coffee/tea was offered while watching the preparation of the balloons. Experienced captain confidently organized the start. Still only restricted number of passengers due to COVID allows for a rather intimate experience. Overall safety and a good customer experience was top priority of all employees at all times.

As several balloons from this and other companies start at the same time in the same area you can take nice pictures of other balloons flying around you during the flight.

Expect the landing to be slightly bumpy as landing outside the dedicated landed area in the dunes may occur. Wear adequate footfear. Drive back from landing area was well organized.

Breakfast spot is 10mins drive from the landing area. Camel & horseback riding and pictures with a falcon are complimentary with the breakfast package. Video of the flight may be purchased as part of the package or on-site.
