Disgraceful Service –Dishonest and Unprofessional

This was hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had with any event service. I booked this yacht for my daughter’s birthday based on false promises of professionalism, early access, and full event setup. Everything was a lie.

We were given access late, with no arrangements in place. Our access timing was changed at each conversation only to be told at the last min it would be at 6 pm and we ended up entering the boat at 6:25 pm with all our guests waiting. This gave us less than 5 minutes to set up which was impossible. The DJ organised by the yacht company had no table to set up on and was forced to use our food table. The DJ area was confirmed with the yacht manager JB at the time of viewing. The speaker was so badly placed near the bar and food area that no one could stand there. Half the guests had to go downstairs where there was no sound at all, making the DJ hire completely pointless.

Nothing was ready on time. Balloons and food were set up after departure. The catering was appalling—cheap, poorly cut cheese left rotting in the sun on a bamboo plate. The jacuzzi was a joke—non-functional and only half-filled using a hose, despite repeated follow-ups. It was nothing like the brochure they used to sell us the experience.

Turns out, owner Mahi had taken another booking during our reducing our access and set up time, causing the delay. When we complained, she became arrogant and aggressive, and dismissed all our concerns. She constantly denied things she had agreed to and treated us like we were the problem.

To make things worse, some of our party supplies and gifts went missing, and we were refused re-entry to check the boat.

This company is a scam, dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unethical. I have since heard from others who had similar experiences, including serious food and hygiene concerns.

They ruined a special day for my family and caused nothing but stress and frustration. I will be reporting them to Dubai Consumer Rights and urge anyone considering them to stay far away. You’re better off booking with literally...

We had organised a birthday party for my mother in law. First they gave us a very good price and I was all excited but on the day of the ride, the engine of the yacht failed and we were stranded in the middle for a long time till we got towed out. Why I rate them so well is because; firstly, Imran did a great deal for us. Not only did he do the decorations well but he even served our guests and cleaned up for us though it's out of his scope. Secondly, Mahi was of great help to us. She listened to all that I had to say and I even got upset once but she explained the situation well and even gave us a handsome refund for the inconvenience caused on that day. Both these people really turned everything that was bad into something so positive and memorable. I am writing to share my experience with YED regarding my wedding party held on October 21, 2024, on one of their yachts.

Unfortunately, my experience did not meet the expectations set by the company's reputation. I had booked the yacht well in advance, but just one day before the event, I was informed that the yacht had been changed to a different one without prior notice. This lack of communication left me unprepared and disappointed on what was meant to be a joyous occasion.

I reached out to the manager who arranged the event, seeking a viable solution. However, the responses I received were primarily apologies, without any actionable steps to rectify the situation.
