Rohini — Restaurant in Dubai

The honest review is that the food is very average and the service is below average. Moreover the price, in no way justifies the experience at all. The ambiance is good but that’s the only positive. During my time there, the restaurant was at about 25% occupancy yet it took the staff 10 mins to just get the menu card to us and the delays were just rising every time. It took them more than 20 minutes to get a rather simple can of Pepsi, which was served after we had completed the starters and waiting for the disappointing main course. What made it worse is that always a new person would come to attend the guest which meant I had to tell the same things 3 times to 3 different staff members, yet not getting the food on time or at least as soon as possible. Moreover calling the staff was another pain as all the other guests were irritated by the same experience and complaining, which made it even more difficult to get hold of a staff member. Additionally, the order served was also incomplete and one item was wrong as well. Regarding the food, out of the 7 items, Hara Bhara Kabab and Taftan bread had no taste really and being a Mumbaikar, the Vada Pav was just a disappointment. We had called for a plain Naan but were instead given a Butter Roti. We were told that the Vada Pav would be small in size but they were rather big. Bigger than what we get in Mumbai. Had it not been for the masala peanuts and Pepsi, this place doesn’t even deserve a 1 star rating. More surprising was the fact that after paying the bill, which off course had to be asked for twice along with multiple failed attempts to get hold of a staff member, one of the other staff members asked if we wanted to call for more bread, which shows that the staff members don’t really know the status of each table in the restaurant. To top this off, the music was also disappointing as it seemed that the volume was only increased, as and when the number complaints increased throughout the time. All in all, a very bad experience....

✨️The second we walked in, I was blown away by the attention to detail. The space is just gorgeous 😍 rich colors, beautiful lighting, and so much personality. Even the restrooms matched the vibe 🤩 I couldn’t help but admire the design there too!😬 It’s the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable but also a little fancy.💃

✨️Now let’s talk about the food ❤️😋 because wow, where do I even begin?😁 Every bite was a burst of flavor. We started with the lamb soup, slow-cooked for 12 hours over a gentle fire 🍛 rich, comforting, and absolutely divine. The papdi chaat? I can still taste that perfect blend of crunch, spice, and tang.😋😋 and butter chicken pasta soooo yummmmmmm #musttry

✨️I’m usually not a fan of kebabs, but the mixed kebab platter here completely changed my mind 😋 tender, juicy, and packed with flavor.

✨️ The mutton bao with its thick, hearty gravy paired so beautifully with the cheese naan 😋 a match made in foodie heaven😁.

✨️And just when we thought we couldn’t eat more, the desserts arrived. The kulfi falooda was a nostalgic delight, but Rohini’s Treat 😋 a dreamy combo of rasmalai and white clotted cream 💃 was honestly too good to resist.

✨️They also have an impressive drinks menu with something for everyone 🍸🍷 from cocktails and mocktails to fresh juices.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Rohini by Little Miss India and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a long time. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting atmosphere set the tone for an exceptional evening.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the night. Special mention to staff Azmi & Wilson who went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect. Their friendliness and professionalism truly enhanced the experience.
