Student Biryani JVC — Restaurant in Dubai

I recently visited Student Biryani in JVC, Dubai, and had a truly satisfying experience. We ordered Haleem, Student Biryani, Chicken Broast, and Kheer, and everything from taste to presentation reflected quality and freshness. The Haleem was deliciously thick, rich in flavor, and had just the right balance of spices - comforting and hearty. The Student Biryani, the restaurant’s signature dish, lived up to its reputation. The rice was perfectly cooked, aromatic, and flavorful without being overly spicy, making it enjoyable for everyone at the table.

The Chicken Broast was crispy on the outside yet tender and juicy inside, served hot and perfectly fried. It complemented the meal beautifully. For dessert, we tried the Kheer, which was creamy, lightly sweet, and a perfect way to end the meal. What I really appreciated was that none of the dishes were too spicy or oily, which is often a concern at many desi restaurants.

The restaurant’s ambiance was clean and family-friendly, with comfortable seating and quick service. The staff was polite, attentive, and ensured our table was well taken care of throughout our meal. Prices were reasonable considering the portion sizes and quality.

I came in on a Friday afternoon hoping to get some Mutton biryani. I have fond memories of eating mutton biryani at the al nahda franchise during my first month in Dubai 3 years ago. I noticed this establishment as I was driving past the area. I thought it would be a cool full circle moment to finally have some mutton biryani 3 years later and think about how far I've come in this beautiful city.

Unfortunately when I walked into this establishment, the host measured me up and down with his eyes while he joked around on his phone. I decided to ignore his rude facial expressions and wait for him to wrap up his conversation. I just wanted to get my biryani and go home. The host proceeded to make it very obvious to me that he was not interested in paying me even the lowest level of human respect as he side eyed me and sat back in his chair to show he was happy to just sit there and chat away. I must have stood there for 2 whole minutes before turning around and walking away.

I sell a lot of property in the area. Needless to say myself, my prospects and my clients will not be meeting me in student biryani. Such a shame because the atmosphere is pretty decent, but I was taught not to give respect where it is not received.

I still highly recommend the mutton biryani. Just not from this franchise. Looking forward to having my full circle moment another time at a...
