The Hamptons Cafe & Restaurant — Restaurant in Dubai

After Covid 19, I travelled to Dubai. Visiting Dubai without a Hamptons cafe, you will never complete the gastronomic tour of Dubai. The Hamptons cafe was a place with outstanding hospitality accompanied by European staff that made us rich and welcoming feeling. The most mind-blowing was the food. It was mouse-watering and incredible. But now, in 2022, I feel differently than before; only a small number of European staff are still around. We rated this place—high-class trained personnel accompanied by delicious food and an authentic interior. We were disappointed this time. The staff approach is unprofessional. They need to be well-coached by management. The same goes for the kitchen. Food cannot hit the stomach drum like previously. It feels like the last touch of Hampton's magic is missing. During the previous visit, I saw one Local guy, the boss of all Hamptons, as per employees. This time, unfortunately, I did not see him also. Nevertheless, Hamptons cafe will be my first nostalgic place to visit when I come to Dubai. I hope someone will see this message and upgrade Hamptons cafe as before, so I won't regret it in front...

The Hamptons is a cafe & restaurant located in Jumeirah Road. The building is nice, it has beautiful seatings both outdoor and indoor, with multiple floors. I went to the upper one, where there’s also a balcony with sea view. The staff is nice and welcoming, the service not too fast but since the atmosphere is relaxing, you won’t bother to wait. The food is great, I especially enjoyed the rose croissant 🥐 which I would recommend if you like the Rose taste, since the flavor is very intense (I think it’s the best Rose croissant I ever had), and there are also other particular choices as lavander, apricot & almond, pistachio and many more. I also told a brisket burger 🍔; the brisket wasn’t very well cooked, but the overall taste was not bad. Together with the burger I chose sweet potatoes fries, that were not super tasty. Despite this, I would recommend to go for breakfast since the menu is very vast and the croissant was spectacular. The price was normal for the standards, the total amount for the food I mentioned plus 1 pina colada and 1 Americano was 120aed. I will go back for sure to try more...

Went with high expectations following all positive google reviews. But disappointed by what we got.

Service is good. Very friendly ladies. Atmosphere is fine. Ok for a peaceful morning.

But food is just not good. Ordered yogurt granola bowl and croissant. And tostadas, a flat Mexican tortilla bread with some bean sauce and topped with 3 eggs. Everything is cheaply prepared, mix of ingredients from budget supermarket. Yogurt is not smooth, creamy at all. House granola is just prepacked cornflakes with a bit of dry fruits and a few nuts. Croissant is not freshly baked in the shop, although the shop manager said it was… but we all know how a freshly baked croissant tastes like… Tostadas is better, at least a few thin slices of avocado and eggs are fresh.

Forget to say that we also ordered one flat white and one latte. Coffee is the best out of everything we ordered today. But if comparing with coffees from other breakfast places, it’s average.
