We love the oysters in this small place, named Dibba Bay at the P&O Marina in Jumeirah. The raw oysters come in sizes from zero (bigger) to 4 (smaller). The prices for the dozens change progressively from 300 to 150 AED. The oysters are fresh and with amazing taste in all sizes. There is an happy hour with 50% discount from Mondays to Thursdays until 5:30 pm. In addition to the oysters, they also offer some combos either with caviar or smoked salmon. For those in need of a more substantial meal, bruschettas and burratas ate also available. At the P&O Marina the outlet is not licensed, therefore sparkling water, non alcohol beer and virgin Bloody Marie's are our preferred drinks to partner with the oysters. There is also a licensed Dibba Bay oysters outlet at the Dubai Marina in the Sheraton Hotel, but we did not check yet the prices and service. AC was installed after summer 😁, so the place is much more pleasant these days and absolutely lovely for a sunset after a sun baking beach afternoon. Take away is available in two options, either not opened boxes of oysters or opened with crushed ice. For the not opened, the price is always 99 AED for a box and the number of pieces varies with the size. For the opened oysters, the price is almost the same than the served at the bar. Go there, check by yourselves and enjoy, if you are oyster lovers...
Read moreWe went inside to order oyster and the Filipina was too friendly to us and she even accommodated us as fast and explain to us about the promotion you have. We order and waiting for it but since its too sunny the light from the face of my fiance was too bright and its hurting her eye so we move the board the filipina girl say we can move it little but if we like we move as well but we already seated so we don't move and we move it little to more comfortable but The only problem is that other girl server I don't know what is her problem but I think she was racist she come inside of restaurant and come to us and she say we need to move because it's not allowed to move the board even little and we ask nicely if we can just put it on little bit more time until our order arrived and eat after we finished she can return it or we will return it but while we are talking to her she move it out of manner. She is really bad and rude. She make us out of this restaurant so we ask her to cancel the order we will not eat. She's very pathetic. Your restaurant is small to have rude...
Read moreBeen hearing about this place for quite some time, I'm glad I finally made it! I love oysters, but I never had such fresh oysters in varying sizes!! We had the size #2 & #3..ah what a delight!! It was a bit disappointing that we didn't get to try their grilled version as it was not available. Maybe next time.
Their sunset happy hour deal on fresh oysters is amazing, it runs from Mon-Thurs, 4.30-6.30pm.
The menu is quite small but on point. Everything on the menu looks good. They have other options like salmon, caviar, bruschetta, buratta salad. Their breads didn't seem fresh, they were too dry, Totally not worth getting the bread basket for 19 dh. They offer non-alcoholic beverages like beer & wine.
The overall ambience is quite nice and cosy, overlooking the harbour, with 4 picnic tables. Watching the sunset was beautiful. Friendly staff, good service👍🏽 Parking is limited, which might be a problem during the winter season. If you love oysters this place is worth the experience 🤍 PS - they sell oysters by the box as well, I noticed many people coming only...
