I had heard great things about their breakfast offerings, and I decided to try their Special Breakfast for Two—and it turned out to be one of the most satisfying and authentic Turkish breakfast experiences I’ve had in Dubai.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with a mix of modern design and traditional Turkish decor that instantly transported us to the streets of Istanbul. The seating is comfortable, and the large windows allow for plenty of natural light, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed morning meal.

Now onto the star of the visit—the Special Breakfast for Two. The spread was incredibly generous and beautifully arranged. It included an impressive variety of fresh cheeses, olives, fresh tomatoes and cucumbers, jams, honey with kaymak (clotted cream), eggs, sausages, börek, and an assortment of freshly baked breads and simit. Everything was served fresh, and you could tell the ingredients were of high quality. The flavors were rich, authentic, and comforting—just the way a Turkish breakfast should be.

The menemen (Turkish-style scrambled eggs with tomatoes and peppers) was a standout dish—perfectly seasoned and warm. We also loved the selection of pastries and the fresh juice options that came with the breakfast. And of course, no Turkish breakfast is complete without tea! The traditional Turkish tea was served piping hot in beautiful tulip-shaped glasses and continuously refilled throughout the meal.

What really made the experience even better was the staff. They were attentive, polite, and always smiling. They made us feel welcomed and taken care of without being overbearing.

Four of us recently visited this restaurant and encountered a rather frustrating experience. One member of our group happened to be a vegetarian, so when we asked our waiter, Hesham, for his recommendations, we were hoping for some delicious meat-free options. Hesham confidently suggested we try three dishes: hummus, zaatar pide, and Fattoush salad.

However, when the rest of us expressed our desire for non-vegetarian dishes, Hesham insisted that the mixed grill would be the perfect choice for the three of us. We hesitated, concerned that it might be too much food, but Hesham assured us that it was the ideal selection.

Almost immediately after he left our table to place the order, we realized that the quantity of the mixed grill seemed excessive for just three people. We called him back in less than a minute, hoping to modify our order, but Hesham informed us that it was too late which was obviously incorrect as he hesitated in his response and didn't even check with the kitchen. How could The meats already be cooking on the grill, a mere minute after we placed the order.

We struggled to finish even half of the platter. Feeling dissatisfied, I expressed my disappointment to Hesham and explained that his recommendation had turned out to be a poor choice for our group. Instead of accepting responsibility, he shamelessly shifted blame onto us, suggesting that we had overindulged in bread, which led to our inability to finish the platter.

It was evident that Hesham's true intention was to inflate our bill, as he not only refused our request to cancel the order placed just moments before but also tried to blame us for his poor recommendation. This entire experience left us feeling disheartened...
