On March 9th, I took my wife out to Mirdif City Centre Yo Sushi as I was unable to take her out for dinner on Women's Day. As we arrived, I noticed a friendly and kind gentleman working in the kitchen and suggested to my wife that we sit next to him. It was nice to see someone with a smile after a long day at work. We chatted with him for a bit before the manager, Derar, came over to take our order for the all-you-can-eat menu.
My wife began to order, but Derar informed us that the poke dish was no longer available due to a decision made by management. Although we were disappointed, we continued to order our usual smoked salmon with cheese and cucumber, which we had been ordering for the past six years, and always requested to replace the smoked salmon with fresh salmon without any issues before. However, Derar began to object to our order, stating that some of the items we requested were not allowed or unavailable.
I tried to explain our usual order, but he was not listening and seemed to lack good listening skills, which was frustrating. Rather than arguing with him, I decided to select two plates from the belt and eat them. They were dry and old, but I did not want to spoil our evening by arguing with an incompetent manager.
When I asked for the bill, Derar promptly brought it to me without attempting to resolve the issue or retain us as customers. We paid the bill and left, disappointed that no one had asked us what had happened.
We went to PF Chang's for dinner, and they were professional and helpful, saving our evening from being ruined. I hope the management takes the time to address these issues as it affects their customer base. Additionally, I previously visited the Mall of the Emirates branch and had the same order as my wife tried to order, and everything was as requested. It was not rocket science.
Furthermore, I have sent messages to their Facebook page but have...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a sushi experience that goes beyond just taste. Sushi YO! delivers big time. I recently tried their unlimited sushi offer, and it’s easily one of the best Japanese dining experiences for the price.
🔁 Unlimited Sushi. From fresh salmon sashimi to creative rolls gliding by on the conveyor belt, the variety was impressive. You get to pick what you want, when you, and go back for more. No limits, just pure satisfaction.
🍜 Hot Dishes Too. It’s not just sushi! I had the chicken udon noodle soup, and it was rich, flavorful, and filling. The broth had great depth, and the noodles were perfectly cooked.
🥢 DIY Condiment Station. Loved the ease of grabbing soy sauce, pickled ginger, and other essentials. It’s all well-stocked and hygienically maintained.
💫 Fun & Casual Atmosphere – The setup is interactive and perfect for groups or solo diners. The “How to YO!” guide is a cute touch that makes it easy even for first-timers.

Read moreI recently visited and was welcomed with a cockroach walking out of the prepping area and when I spoke to the manager he had no sufficient excuse. The waiters and waitresses were really bad at serving the table some of the orders placed were forgotten and we had to personally remind the chef about it since the staff wouldn't do it themselves. The service was bad and very slow. The fried disehd were very oily. There were very little options on the belt. Sadly the service in yo sushi has become bad. The manager was very unexperienced and unprofessional nothing was made to make our visit special or make up for the bad experience. We were a family of six that went for open sushi and still paid full price after the bad experience and letting the manager know about it. Words cannot make up for the money that was wasted. I believe that it would be near impossible to visit yo sushi again. Since this is the second time I have faced such a...
