The Coop House City Centre Mirdif — Restaurant in Dubai

We went to The Coop on Sept. 18th 2025, with my mother and my 3 year old son.

First, the lady at the door (her name is Faith) was very smiley, welcoming and attentive. She helped us decide if the place was suitable for us to eat, since we were initially looking for a place to grab a quick meal for my son to eat who was getting very fussy.

She showed me to the Chef's station. The chef, Ahmed, was very enthusiastic about explaining to me what he was doing (He cooks your choice of pasta and sauce right in front of you) and he was knowledgeable. It almost felt like he owed the place, the way he cared about what he was doing. i mean it when i say he was enthusiastic. i actually think he was the most enthusiastic person i have met in dubai so far haha, you can sense he is passionate about the food he cooks and i found that endearing.

Then we got sitted. The place is very beautiful, well lit, modern in the decoration with great ceilings, furniture and light fixtures, and very comfortable cushioned sitting booths to eat at. The tables were large to accomodate all our meals, and they have extra cushions on the sitting booths to put on your lower back while you sit and adjust comfort level.

Their electronic menu looks so beautiful, you get to see professionaly taken photos of the actual meals (something i really appreciated!) and the food and drink options were so vast. A 10 out of 10.

But The star of this review would have to be our main server, Alam, who was so welcoming and helpful. He helped us decide what would be suitable for my son to eat and rang his order in immediately, since he was very hungry. My mother and i decided to have something to eat as well. He stayed with us throughout all the service, friendly to my son and us, and ready to help with a smile on his face.

The food was very good!!! i had steak with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce, for 120AED, my son had some mashed potatoes, fries and chicken strips, and my mom had a burger with fries + two waters. i don't remember the price for their food, but it was very inexpensive, im sure less than 100AED for each. (our total came out to 340AED). I remember thinking the chicken strips were breaded and fried to perfection, and the steak was cut in large pieces and very easy to chew. the MUSHROOM SAUCE was so good!! im very picky with my mushroom sauce and this one was amazing. i wish i couldve asked them to pour me a whole bottle as a take-away haha. The mashed potatoes were great, creamy, and tasty, my son really liked it. The portion sizes were generous.

All the other servers were so helpful and welcoming as well. The only very small negative remark i have is that towards the end our meal, the servers didnt really have eyes on us in case we needed anything, or didnt come as often to ask if everything was good and if we needed anything else. They also had a two-for-one pasta and pizza deal going on, that Faith or the servers didn't talk about/suggested (i would've took it!! especially for my son and me) but that's okay. i'm glad we got the meals we got and the service was still amazing.

i remember there was a young boy that was celebrating his birthday that night, and all the servers brought out a piece of cake with a candle to their table, and enthusiastically clapped along and sang happy birthday. The boy seemed really happy and it made me smile to see. Very good service.

We left this restaurant feeling very full and satiated, (i was wondering how i would be able to go try on clothes for the rest of my shopping😂😅) cared for, welcomed (especially as a black family, the little boy's family was black as well. Not that we have had any negative experiences so far in Dubai) and overall very happy. It was great and i would highly recommend this place to anyone. Don't hesitate. The value you get for your money is GREAT. Thank you to Faith, Ahmed, the servers, the cooks, and our wonderful server Alam. You guys made a difficult shopping trip with a toddler more pleasing for us.

The restaurant reception by Ms. Patricia, she was polite and welcomed us with a very beautiful and elegant smile, and she explained to us the menu that suits children. In addition to accompanying us to the appropriate table for us, which was chosen by us, as she encouraged us to choose the table that suits us. The service was very excellent, which was provided by Ms. Sahini, who welcomed us and served us, despite changing the order twice, but she was patient and provided her service with a smile and repeated that she was at our service at any time, in addition to her response to us when we asked about the size of the meal, and from time to time she asked if we needed other services. It was my first experience at Coop Restaurant, and it was very excellent due to the good hospitality of Ms. Patricia and the service of Ms. Sachini. I hope to repeat it as soon as possible.

🌟 My experience at the restaurant was truly special, thanks to the amazing waitress ABIGAIL.

From the moment we walked in, she welcomed us with a warm smile and such respectful, kind manners. She was incredibly polite, quick with the service, and patient even during busy moments. She handled everything gracefully without ever showing signs of frustration.

It’s clear that she loves her job and treats people with genuine care.
