Shababeek Restaurant, Sharjah is a haven for lovers of authentic Lebanese cuisine. Nestled in the charming Al Qasba area, this restaurant offers stunning views of the canal and an ambiance that blends traditional Lebanese aesthetics with modern elegance.
During my visit, I was impressed by their commitment to quality and detail. The menu highlights include the creamy Hummus Beiruti, crispy Falafel, and flavorful Tabbouleh salad. I also tried the popular Fatayer Spinach, which was fresh and delicious.
The main courses are equally impressive. The Mixed Grill Platter is a must-have, featuring perfectly grilled Shish Tawook, Kafta, and tender Lamb Chops. The Sayadieh (spiced rice with fish) was another standout dish, showcasing a delicate balance of flavors.
For dessert, the Kunafa stole the show with its gooey cheese and crispy topping, paired beautifully with a cup of Arabic Coffee.
Shababeek Sharjah is not just about food; it’s an experience. The stunning canal views, impeccable service, and authentic Lebanese dishes make it a dining destination worth visiting.

Read moreOur second time to Sharjah. No idea where to go for lunch (late lunch actually 😁), Googling is the best way. Found some recommendations and chose Shababeek for their outdoor dining as one of options.
It is Lebanese Restaurant in a stores area. Outdoor dining was perfect for us. We could see children plays around because the area is divided by the canal. Local people walk around enjoying their afternoon time. I could feel the warm of Sharjah. People gather as if family.
Restaurant staffs were so kind to us. Since we're not expert of Arabian meals, asking staff recommendation and meals details is good. Finally my son had his own Grilled Lamb Chops (whoaaa for 12 years.. 😅😅) and I shared Family Combo with my sister (experienced meals portion is big in UAE).
Tastes are good for us. Guess no issue for they who used to have/like food with herbs/spices. Juicy meats, nice plating, and good atmosphere also the weather. We were full and enjoyed our time there. They served us great.
We're full. And left restaurant only before Maghrib pray call. So we just accrossed the bridge near restaurant to get the other side of canal, walked 5 minutes and reached the mosque.
Canal experiences fit our day in...
Read moreSuperb service from Victoria (waitress) and Yousef ( manager ), very attentive and professional. Food was delicious we ordered the mixed grill shish tawouk and kebab Halaby. Victoria suggested that the entertainer vouchers were redeemed upfront so there would be no problems if there was connectivity or redemption issues at the bill paying time. This showed great adaptability and intuition. The kunafa desert was fresh crispy and delicious one of the best I’ve tasted. The atmosphere and setting is very high end with indoor seating and outdoor with a fresh modern feel. The prices are very good value and the service is perfectly balanced between allowing privacy and making sure the customer is well served.
I will definitely visiting again it’s such a unique proposition that you can enjoy a casual snack, full on dinner or lunch dining experience in great setting at...
