Me and my friend had Fattoush, Potato slices, and a grilled halabi kebab meal.
The fattoush was out of this world delicious and so authentic, it had the perfect balance of all the flavours and best of all, mint. So many places go without the mint and it's such a shame because without mint it's not fattoush, it's just salad with balsamic vinegar. Speaking of, the balsamic was so perfectly balanced, sweet and tangy in all the right amounts. It wasn't overly vinegar-y as most are, but very well balanced and the colour was perfect.
The grilled halabi kebab meal was also great but my only gripe was that the kebabs were a little drier than I (or most people) would like it. Not to say it was bad, but it was on the drier side and wasn't really juicy. The flavour though, wow! Such amazing flavours in the kebab and the pickles, grilled onion, tomato, and pepper were perfect. Very well out together and so flavourful, and not too much but just the right amount. I think the kebabs were overdone on purpose due to the laws on serving undercooked meat, which I understand. I would also rather have it slightly over than risk store closure because it was even a little bit pink.
The potato slices. Oh my god. Before today, all I had eaten from Laffah were these potato slices and honestly, that is the only reason I went here today. These slices have some other-worldy spice mix sprinkled on them and along with the dip that they give with it, it is easily the BEST SNACK I have had in the UAE so far. It's genuinely impossible to stop having these by the handful ( and trust me, these slices are big and thick ) and the dish the dip is in, is always completely spick and span empty by the time I finish eating.
Also had amazing service, with one waiter even coming to check if we were okay when someone on the street had come up to us and asking for money quite aggressively ( we were sitting outside by the edge ). I don't understand Arabic so that was quite disturbing but the waiter diffused the situation before it got bad and was very sweet.
Overall amazing food, service and atmosphere. I wish I could give the food that 5 star because they really deserve it, but I had to dock a star because of the overdone kebabs.
I suggest everyone to at least try the potato slices from here, it is a MUST HAVE if you are in Sharjah...

Pros Dining area is outdoor and it's cool and cozy, not too crowded and with good spacing per table. Waiters and waitresses are very fast and attentive. What you see in the menu is what you'll get. Fine amount of servings.
Cons The taste of this laffah in comparison to before's chicken taste is a bit different, i could say it's a little too salty this time. Hence, there is no consistency in the menu. Since it has outdoor diner, there must be sanitizers stationed in each and every table. Especially with this pandemic issue, this is very critical, and Laffah failed in this aspect. In order to have sanitizer, I had to ask a waitress if she can arrange a sanitizer for me and she took few minutes to find me a bottle of sanitizer as per my request. For me this is unacceptable.. Since it's a broasted chicken diner, it is expected that people will use their hands to eat and since it's again outdoor i didn't see an area to wash your hands at least... if this is the case, they must arrange a disposable plastic gloves per table for customers use to avoid contamination of food or simply to lessen the virus threat.
I love Laffah when it comes to food, it is a comfort food for me but in these times of pandemic, extra care is required in every cafeteria or restaurant to lessen the virus threat and for the people to enjoy the dining experience...
