Having had the spiders web recommended for great food , me and my work mate have been stopping in Dyce next to the spiders web four nights a week for a month , we've given our service and commitment and money of about £300-£400 Monday - Thursday , when first eating there we must have got the best chief and I'm led to believe it was a guy that was cooking in the the kitchen that evening when we were asked if our food was okay and we replied excellent, great value for correct size portions , but every other time we have eaten at the pub we seem to have had the head chief which we believe to be a woman , which we then found the quality of her food was poor and the size was less then half of what previous had been served , which then made the food portions very expensive and as we both still felt very hungry and not satisfied, I much rather leave a bit of food if I am paying proper pub prices not still feeling hungry and wanting a McDonald's afterwards , please have a team meeting and try get this resolved as I've been advised on other nice eating establishments nearby such as dyce tandoori and Dyce farm, don't really want to travel to these other establishments as I have the spiders web on my doorstep and love coming in there and mingling with the great bar staff and fellow drinkers , hope you can resolve these issues as we have quite abit of business in this area and do want to continue using the spiders web every night as we are stopping on the...
Read moreNormally love this place but …… had meal tonight and kids had pizzas, apart from looking like smart price cheapos the kids didn’t complain. I usually have the fish or lasagna and on this occasion my partner and I both had the lasagna, we both had like 1 fork full and looked at one another ,that was enough 🤮, it had clearly went bad , so we ate our chips and salad and left the lasagnas , we debated about complaining straight away but we decided to just leave it , the waitress never came over once anyway . I left with the kids and the mrs went to pay , the x2 young Karen’s at the till were igronant , know “ how was your meal “or any manners or polite conversation, so this was enough to annoy the other half into complaining , all young Karen said was “ill let the manager know that’ll be £71 “, dissatisfied she paid and left , needless to say we won’t be back , the guy mark needs to get his house in order , 👋🥊 if you want a decent meal ploughman’s in peteculter is top class food amazing service is brilliant, or the dunaven in...
Read moreWe arrived at lunch time. Atmosphere was nice and cozy, staff were friendly and attentive. Food was really good. We both had chicken goujons and the portion was fairly large. The batter was a bit heavy and a little bit too oily but it all seemed very freshly cooked and the coleslaw and salad and chips were all very fresh as well. We shared a sticky toffee pudding for dessert. It was very tasty. Visited again more recently. Again it was a good experience. Had the steak pie this time and my husband had the special - beef Stroganoff. Both were really tasty. 👍 Update...... Went for a meal on Saturday night. The restaurant was busy but the atmosphere was welcoming. All the dishes we had between a family of 4 were REALLY good. Staff friendly and...
