This was our review and then below the owners response! Come to you own conclusions:- "We had high expectations on the previous reveiews. Two out of three of us wanted spag bol (the reason we went to this Italian and yes we do know its not an authentic Italian food) but we were told they did not have any. I am not going to say anymore about this but that in itself is not acceptable. How can we give any higher than poor for this? IThe other dishes were hardly eaten. No doubt we will get told that we should have raised the issue then however no one queried that most of two dishes went back uneaten nor did anyone ask us if all was ok during the meal. We had gone out for a quite family meal not a potential confrontation!" Owners response:- Trattoriapizzer... O, General Manager at O Curniciello, responded to this reviewResponded 31 July 2022 "I saw that 90%of your reviews are negatives especially for restaurants,it’s a big sign of frustration and fury …but if you think that you are so good in cuisine why you didn’t opted for opening your own restaurant,we would love to be your first customers and judge you…we are ITALIANS and we know exactly how the food must be cooked don’t need any lessons from you ALIEN as you describe your self in your profile and naming yourself ALIEN MEANS A LOT….First of all when I served you I said the Bolognese is sold out it’s mean that it was requested for the hole day and we simply finished it never said we don’t do it…as we are a very AUTHENTIC ITALIAN RESATAURANT,we cook everything fresh nothing is frozen or preheated! when we finish the Bolognese prepared for that day,it’s mean we will cook another fresh sauce for the day after simple ,I won’t be long to explain how the work in kitchen must be done as your are not a Chef but our ITALIAN Chef have a certificate from Italy allowing him to teach and make training in uk just in case you are interested one day. We have a very rich menu with a lot of options but you was obsessed by the Bolognese ,I’m so surprised when you said that I didn’t asked if everything was ok because I came personally to see your table to ensure that all was good,the dishes was eaten buy the other members of your family but I noticed a high level of mess on your plate ,on the top of the table cover,and in the floor very embarrassing for an adult….a kid of 5 years old is able to make less mess.I just want to let you know that we don’t wake up in the morning with the intention to upset any customer and we didn’t made anything to make your family meal “not quite”but seems you was very moody that day and you exploded when you didn’t found your BOLOGNESE !Take a breath ,smile and relax you negativity in the most 90% of your reviews is a big sign of dissatisfaction making you feeling uncomfortable for example when you don’t find a...

WOW what a discovery ! The standard and quality of the food at this restaurant is exceptional ! We were just looking for a local place that would be good for my 14 yr olds birthday and thought pizza would be ideal.. but i hate the pizza chains with there english/american version of italian pizza - so i called and checked this place had the real thing made fresh - confirmed :) So we went along and the kids had pizza real authentic pizza, crispy dough, great quality ingredients :))) But i thought id risk trying a steak .. I say risk because 99% of the time i am so dissapointed by the mediorce standard of steaks i get in restarants - again the steak chains seem to be the worst ! So i politley asked if the fillet steak was fresh & the proper thick cut & could i possibly ask the chef to see it - no problem, they were happy to do it. The chef offered up 3 great looking thick cuts of quality looking fillet - good start but the best was yet to come... i love a med- rare steak with a decent chef prepped creamy peppercorn sauce - they had their own 3 type pepper corn sauce.... So i have eaten in some top restaurants in 39 diff countries in the world including in the top ten and Michelin starred - This Steak was exceptional easily equal best wish the best i have ever had .... and that hasn't happened to often ! This is due to both the fantastic quality of the streak by the chef sourcing the best supplier & exceptional standard of preperation and cooking. I would have expected and have paid double for this eceptional standard of steak meal ! So i will be returning again ....& again .....& ....... So happy to discover this quality on my doorstep with out having to travel to hove brighton or worthing and...

Firstly ordered a rum and coke, didn’t taste any rum at all so had very little inside and the coke tasted like cheap cola. Secondly ordered chips and very disappointed that it was frozen chips and not cooked properly in the middle. Pizza was half decent other would have been a 0.5 review. Took a long time for the food to arrive also. Overall wouldn’t recommend and probably won’t return

Owner is very rude when someone is not writing a 5 review. And expecting everytime everyone is having amazing food because they don’t make any mistakes* said the pizza was half decent. Also saying you was very busy and struggled to fit us in when there was at least 5 empty tables. “Which means you are the liar” I don’t need to go “visit Napoli” to know what chips and a rum and coke is meant to taste like.

• when I go to vist Naples I will be sure to stay away from any business you have worked in. No one came to “bother you” we came because we was hungry. If 3 tables when we walked in is you’re “ Busiest days” what does that tell you? (Good for them if they visited your country? Who cares about that?) no one went home with frustrations mate 🤣 I went home to have a real rum and coke. (P.S you should put on your menu - these are frozen chips from the supermarket. 😉 crying because you don’t get a 5 review. So so rude for a business owner having to use your frustration “behind google use a mobile phone” sad. Very saddddddd ✌🏼
