Lancing and Sompting Royal British Legion Club — Restaurant in Adur

Unfortunately I had to give this place a rating just to be able to give a review when it doesn’t deserve even a one star ..... My mother had many years of being a member here and spent many hours selling poppies for Remembrance Day out in the freezing cold but was happy to do this for a great cause.

Sadly my dear mum psssed away on 13 November 2018 so we thought it would be a nice place to hold her wake after her funeral so we booked the room upstairs and payed the deposit.

On arriving we were barked at “ Upstairs” no sorry for your loss etc After that things went from bad to worse with the bar closing after 3 hours and the so called community members shouting at myself and my family causing us all more heartache after a heart breaking day already.

I’ve never experienced such a group of vile nasty people in my life and I don’t know how they sleep at night after...

I visit the Royal British Legion as a member and I find that's the staff are amazing the bar steward cannot do any more to help them what she does the staff are always happy and the place hazarbuz especially at weekends when there are different acts...

Wish I could have given zero stars but couldn’t.

Full of horrible, bitter, nasty and racist members, staff and committee.

I strongly advise anyone to not enter these premises.

Abuse and anti social behaviour is rife outside...
