Becky did an afternoon tea for our 40 guests at our daughters wedding on 18/6/2022. It was absolutely delicious, everybody loved it. Sandwiches, scones , sausage rolls, cheesecakes, a variety of cakes. Our theme was vintage, and this fitted perfectly, just what we wanted. I ordered a cake for my daughters 30 th birthday i wasvery impressed with the service the cake had been delivered on time on new years eve. Looking exactly like the photo on the website it was very well received by my daughter and family i was impressed with the flavour and the presentationall the family enjoyed it. The Ropetackle is great and so is the cafe. Nice, relaxed atmosphere, and good, simple food made to order - a salad and a wrap - with a good cup of coffee. Around £10 per person. It's a small, simple menu, but perfectly suited to what they do.

One thing to note - the bar wasn't open when we went there (a Saturday lunchtime); only open show nights, we were told. A shame, because they do Harvey's IPA - but then again, a good reason to go...
