The Tides Pizzeria — Restaurant in Adur

Went on Sunday it was hot weather and understandably the restaurant was going to be busy with orders, we understand there may be a delay in food etc, what we was puzzled about was the fact they was so rude we waited 50 minutes to collect to arrive and have the wrong order we was blamed and apparently it was our fault we showed them the confirmation email what we ordered and they still argued with us saying they don’t sell those items ... waited another 40 minutes about to leave and they forgot the chicken nuggets... finally got to the beach where we realised they forgot the chocolate fudge cake.. they had non stop phone calls and orderd coming in but couldn’t cope with the orders, stop thinking about all the money and focus on actually making the orders you already have, pizza wasn’t even cut up we had to rip with our hands to eat, food was pretty tasteless, I never ever do reviews but for this place I had to do one cause it was that bad would never return save...

Been here before with the same experience. Tides you need somebody to greet guests when they come in. We had booked tables on both occasions but were left standing there being ignored by the lady to busy sorting out takeaway pizza orders. Nearly walked out as we weren't made to feel welcome . You need a separate system for the takeaway pizzas. We noticed a couple had come in and had waited so long to even be acknowledged they walked out. I don't blame them. It's a shame because pizzas are lovely. Improve your organisation! I must say tho when you first opened there was a lovely gentleman working there who greeted and waited on. Where's he gone.......

Absolutely shocking customer service, don’t get me wrong lovely pizza, but order it 2 hours before you want it, and forget any discount codes you might receive from their email address because they don’t work but apparently it’s got nothing to do with them! but once they’ve teased you into ordering a pizza be prepared to wait, nearly 2 hours but apparently that’s nothing to do with them either, every week since lockdown we’ve spent nearly £40 every week with them and not even a sorry, honestly as I said lovely pizza but business like this with absolutely no regard to customer service shouldn’t have customers.
