Twice ive been in with my kids in the past two weeks. Once on Sunday for breakfast at 10am for table service. Waited and waited, it was busy, after getting frustrated and speaking to two staff before the final time to find out my order was lost and they had to redo it. We ended up getting our breakfast items after two couples near us received their lunch order, which was still missing my drink.
The second time I went in with just my little boy, The drive thru was packed and I decided to go in to do takeaway order, we sat down waiting, again busy, listening every time an order was called and again nothing. So i went up after 40-50 minutes and a manager checked my order disappeared around the corner for 2 seconds and came back saying we shouted several times i will have to redo it with an disgusting tone to me, i argued back i had been sat there listening and waiting and it was never called out, she argued back they walked around with the tray too. 1 it was a takeaway order and they wouldn't walk around with it on a tray. 2, no one was walking around at any point asking if anyone if this was their order.
I would have just been ok with fixing it and getting our food we now waited just over an hour by the time we got it but her attitude to me and talking down to me when i hadn't untill she out right lied to my face and try blame me with her disgusting attitude. She needs some training or they need to find a new manager.
I would have happily sat and watched the cctv to show she was out of line and see her face drop.
I will now be going out my way to go to Langley mill McDonald's as Ripley has gone down hill, also had lots of issues with the app and a 2 hour wait for a happy meals for my kids via deliveroo app from this place just...
Read moreAbsolute poor show of customer service today. As a taxi driver, I bought a customer through the drive thru. The employee taking the order didn’t clearly listen to my customer, then got very personal with him when taking his money. To which I asked him if he knew her and he said no. She then made a mistake and missed a couple of items, which she didn’t charge for (fair enough) because she clearly wasn’t listening. Then at the pick up window another employee would not take the measures to correct the mistake of their colleague, neither did a manager. Telling both me as the driver and the customer to either go in or line back up through the drive thru because of a mistake that one of the mangers staff has made. Rather than take 2 minutes to charge the customer for the item, which he was more than willing to pay for, therefore correcting the staff mistake, the manager chose to discuss with me (I was trying to exercise good customer service by fighting the corner of my customer) at length why she couldn’t take the money through that particular window that the customer was willing to pay for. Me personally, I don’t use this particular Mac Donald’s as I do think most of the staff are quite rude, today the experience of my customers in the taxi has proved me right. Read moreIts a maccy's their all the same pretty much. This one however has issues. I dont know whats dead in the place but somethings certainly dead in there. There is a really strong unmistakeable smell one would associate with dead things and maggots. Anyone who has worked in jobs that come across road kill, train kill, pest control, farming, morgues or any other job where dead things are encountered that have begun to rot naturally will varify the smell as soon as they enter this particular mc'd. Its concerning. Just to be clear i have never ever encountered this in any other mc'd anywhere in the country and i travel with work every day and have used a large number of stores across england and wales. Perfectly happy with all except this one. That said the staff seemed nice and food tasted fine at this mc d as it does everywhere. But i did wonder if any critters had been around it prior to cooking due to the smell of the building... thankfully however i had just finished a very long shift and was absolutly starving otherwise i would not have ordered never mind ate. In any normal situation The moment i entered the building and encounted the smell of dead stuff i would have done a u turn. That said this particular maccys will not be visited by me ever again....
