Rendezvous cafe — Restaurant in Ashfield

Rendezvous has only recently opened, and l think that it deserves to be a huge success. The food is competitively priced, and the service is super friendly. Nothing is too much trouble. The menu is varied, as you will see from the photographs. They also do Bubble Tea l duly looked blank. It's a lovely refreshing drink, fruit juices, fruit, and ice. So, not your run of the mill cuppa, then! I was reliably informed that they were the only place in Sutton where you could indulge in this drink. To owners of dogs - any shape or size - they are very welcome. My rescue hound, Loki, soon settled down. When l visited, children were having meals, and a high chair was available. There is cosy seating with ample room between tables for easy wheelchair and scooter access. Both toilets are adapted for wheelchair users and have lots of room. The cafe is lovely, and up-market. The food was good. We did think the staff needed to be dressed smarter as this did let the ambiance down a bit. Would look better if all waiting on were dressed the same. Apart from that, all was OK, nice and quiet, no music blaring out, you coukd hear yourself speak.
